Just wondering how long after stopping the analogues am I likely to start coughing all the carp from my lungs? I'm down to 2 analogues today, so that's one tomorrow and then I'm done with them. Didn't think I could ever be free of them, never mind within 5 days! I'm already fed up with the short battery life of my www.liberro.co.uk/e-cigarette-starter-packs/realis-ultra-realistic-electronic-cigarette-starter-pack, and with hubby having snaffled my spare they don't last long! Reckon with all the good advice on here I should go for the next rung on the ladder. Do you reckon I should go with the Riva 1100 or the Riva-T Tank?

Great news on the ciggies not smoked Kibbutz! I'd certainly go for the Riva 1100 . . . the Tanks have a bit of a mixed reception going by what I've read anyway. You might not get a cough . . . there's a variety of symptoms that you may or may not experience . . . I already choked my lungs up most days with the amount I smoked, so switching to vaping meant my cough disappeared.

I think it depends what you used to smoke and if you got a smoker's cough.
I smoked rollies and hardly ever had the smoker's cough, my sister smoked Marlboro's and was hacking away all the time. I reckon that pre-rolled fags have a lot more nasty additives in them.
When I stopped I didn't get a cough either - so it's ether all still in there or it wasn't so bad in the first place.

Cheers m'dears! I smoked 20-25 menthols @ 0.7mg nicotine. I never had a cough as such, just a wheeze. I already am much less wheezy, so that's a bonus I didn't think I'd want to upgrade so quickly, but I know I don't want to go back to 'real' fags with the cost, smell and decorating costs

I started with a realis, started off great, soon turned into a pain, battery life being the main pain, but I also wasn't convinced the batteries were as good as they were supposed to be out of the box. Changed to a riva 1100, it's brilliant. Not tried the T tank.

Hi Kibbutz I agree with the others, go for a Riva 1100 with cartomisers - you can always try tanks (of various kinds) on it at a later date

I used to have a persistent chesty cough when I smoked, but it went very quickly when I started vaping I agree that the Riva 1100 kit is the way to go, but having said that I think the new Riva - T tanks are pretty good - much better than the older version ones. They hold nearly twice as much liquid as a standard size cartomiser and of course you can see when they need topping up. The kits are quite a bit more expensive though and of course you could just get one of the T-tank atomisers on its own and run it on the 1100 Riva.

I was smoking 40 roll ups a day and had a heavy cough and wheezy chest untill i got a riva 1100 from vapescape (I couldn't recommend product or supplier enough) now even though iv'e only been vaping a little while my cough has nearly completely gone and i have no more wheeziness. I managed to completely cut out nasties as soon as i started vaping (could never manage it with nrt or champix etc)

I have the Ego C, it is great once you know the short comings of the system otherwise it will leave you frustrated. I use it now and it is great but I nearly threw the whole thing out when I first bought it.
Just get the batteries and use carto's, you will never regret it.
As for coughing. I used to lose various body parts through my morning coughing fit. Used to take a good 5 cigs to stop it.
Remember that Ego C I just moaned about ? Well the cough stopped the second day of my using it and has never returned. Approaching 2 months now and am expecting to start coughing but hasn't happened yet.
