Hi guys, I have received a package from Amazon today that I didn't order - an infared thermometer..... I've checked my Amazon account and the last order showing on their is correct - some coils I ordered and have received.... Did I read earlier this week/last week that someone received something they didn't order? The Amazon site isn't obvious for how to contact then either Any advice, please? |

HaroldTheBarrel - I just had a bit of a shock on the old travel insurance.... Because of the martial law, Mindinao is now on the FCO essential travel only list, ergo my travel insurance is now invalid. 99.99% of companies won't give medical cover for FCO restricted countries.... Finally managed, after a lot of calls, to get cover with BUPA....but it's GBP 200 for 46 days rather than GBP 30 for a "normal" travel policy.....

Raffles - I totally agree with you. The automatic renewal is one of the sneakiest tricks - along with increasing IPT every year (I worked in Insurance before I got in to teaching...) The insurance company argue they don't want to leave people without legal cover - their euphemism for massively increasing prices and hoping people don't notice. Any kind of personal insurance (car/house) should, IMHO, be reviewed every year as people are always doing new business deals. Sadly no loyalty from the companies in that game

Although I'm, thankfully, not a car owner I understand the big increases this year are due to a change in the compensation system for deal with personal injury in car accidents. Government changes the rules - Insurers must make gazillions in profit - the punter has to pay....as usual |

thebishman  I've got 3 normals and thanks to super quick FT delivery I now have a bright pink squonky as well as the black one. The bright pink was the only one in stock, needed it for hols - what you gonna do?!? At least no one will nick it
