I don't find TC factory coils work properly, so I don't have these worries. I have used all the standard metals/coils and in the last few weeks I've used both the Ni and Ti Joyetech premade factory coils in the Tron and they're rubbish as well. Personally, I don't see the point in using a factory TC coil, going to the trouble of all the 'jazz' and then basically getting a pathetic reduced-power vape. In my opinion, better to vape at 20/30/50 watts with Kanthal or Stainless Steel and enjoy that than pretend I'm vaping at 550 degrees with a setting of x amount of watts, when actually all that's going on is the mod is reducing me to 10 watts-worth of unsatisfying vape. Ooh, yes... that's a rant. Okay, how do I get a kanthal or ss coil for my evic vtc mini? Or would I need to rebuild one myself?

Okay, after your kind advice I bought an evic vtc mini. It comes with a nickel coil and a titanium coil. I have read a few articles and watched some YouTube stuff where people are saying nickel coils can produce toxins. Also seen similar criticisms of Titanium though, but people seem slightly less concerned about Ti. I realise this may be a difficult and possibly contentious question but is there any consensus on what is the safest coil material that will be compatible with my mod? Thanks.
They sent you a replacement for a dodgy USB port? .. and you didn't need to send the first one back? Um... so you have two now? (shh... shh...) that might have worked out rather well. Most people don't charge them with the usb... (cough, cough... no comment)....
Well... No. The guy who dealt with me, Imran, he said he'd not come across one with a dodgy port and sent me a pre-paid envelope with the new mod, to return the old one. The new one arrived within 24 hours, the guy was falling over himself to help me out.
Am I missing something here? There seems to be a news article dropped into the middle of the paragraph?
Well I took your advice and went for an evic vtc mini. Probably a bit overkill for a starter but I like things that you can tweak and mess with so that seemed a good option. The first one they sent me had a knackered micro usb port, couldn't get a lead into it properly, gave them a call and they sent a replacement out the next day, really good service. I went to a bonfire party and met some mates I've not seen for a while and four of them were vaping who were formerly smokers. Can'https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.chesterchronicle.co.uk/news/chester-cheshire-news/attempted-robbery-ellesmere-port-chemist-12092333. Can't see myself smoking a ciggie ever again now! Thanks for the hr advice folks. I'll be back with another question soon!

Hi all, I'm looking at starting out vaping, I have cut down cigarettes drastically over last few years but st get tempted a couple of times per week. I want to replace these odd cigarettes with vaping. I've spent several days now reading and looking at forums and I'm still confused as to what kit I should start with. I lie buying stuff secondhand and I want reasonably good kit without spending a fortune. I have been looking at a a Smok OSub 40W TC Kit, am I even close? What could I look for secondhand in the classifieds that would be as good or better, for as much or less money? My main stipulation is I need something that doesn't leak as I cycle to work with a backpack. Thanks.
