I have got / used both and TBH they both seem to be about the same to me
.........BUT i used them in a regulated mod so not sure on the mech draw / drain
so will leave this for a more experienced mech user to advise.

Oh yes lol i work in landfill and trust me it will just get thrown in with all the other rubbish
and may even get split / run over and just leach into the ground anyway.
with water treatment it does what its called..... treated so imho its
the lesser of two evils mate.

down the sink it will be no more of a environmental concern than sending it to landfill.
If anything it will be less of a impact as the water is treated landfill is not.
