thanks for sharing this. I am gona try it. What I have been doing so far is closing the airflow, top filling it and then screwing the top back on whilst holding the tank upside down. Open the airholes and blow into them. Then turn it back up and put on tank. Leaking has stopped mostly but still get some from the air holes now and then. The way this tank is designed when you screw it on it seems to create air pressure inside , you can hear it when you open it up from top.

Hi All
As per the heading, looking for a reliable mtl tank for a new starter wanting to switch over from smoking. Easily available coils in UK will be a big plus and ease of use. It will most likely go on a pico I am also gona buy for him.
thanks.

Started using it last night with the coil that came with it and flavour is good so far, on par with my siren2 although I wish it had higher air flow setting than the max one. The problem has been incessant leaking from the airflow holes every time i have top filled it. This time I bottom filled it after googling the issue and no leaking so far touch wood. Not sure i want to do that all the time. Are you used to a slightly bigger airflow and that maybe causing your flavour issue?

Good choice with the Pico mecnun, I have had two since they first came out and use them as my carry around - still going strong, and, when they get to look a bit old, you can get a nice cheap stick on cover for them! A little bit of mishap with the order... There was a 20 days wait time for the order to be shipped when I checked progress which I am pretty positive was not there when I placed the order. The whole reason I didn't order the paranormal was due to the wait time so i am aware not everything is in stock. I got a bit peeved and cancelled the whole order. In hindsight I should have just cancelled the modefined box but what can I say, I am an emotional man...so the pico has to wait.

thanks, I have used these guys before and ordered some more last night although I have to say neither the samsung 25r or the sony vtc4 I got was as good as the original one i bought with the mod (sammy 25r) in terms of life. I am not sure if this is a consequence of my mod getting old, getting dropped/damaged or whatever. Even before I got into rebuild-able atomiser that needs more wattage I noticed it. The sony vtc4 baiscally last less than an hour of vaping now from a full charge whereas the 25R is better. Theres been occasions where my mod used to get hot, not hot enough so that you cant hold it but still hot and Iwonder if Ihave damaged my batteries through that..

I stick with vape gear until it breaks or is close on breaking hence why I am running a few years behind everyone else but I am satisfied with the vape so I dont see the reason to buy more than one mod/tank at a time. I was happy with my vapros nunchaku so much so that I bought a second after the first one broke however i was finding coils from the vapros 0 tank increasingly hard to come by and walked into a shop in the city..came back out with a new tank & mod . Its in some people's nature to push boundaries and try new things, different things which then has a snowball effect with manufacturers , I guess without them we possibly would not have had the progress we have in vaping tech. Others just like new and shiny stuff and wanting to just try different things they see or come across and that's cool too because that helps when they write reviews and give feedback. Each to their own. I still smoke the occasional cigars and will try new brands when I get the chance.. but I don't think cigs bring enough of a variety/difference for people to be trying different brands and chopping and changing plus there is no real innovation there either from a user's standpoint.

Hi - I am looking to purchase a box mod as I have the feeling my current one is about to give up the ghost on me (Hcigar vti 75 nano). It has served me well despite the abuse it has received so I am looking for something similar. I like sturdy, solid and well made boxes of metal rather than plastic and solid buttons with tactile feedback. I prefer smaller form factor or minis although am considering 2 batteries mods as well.
I am an MTL vaper, rarely go above 20 watts and only ever use wattage mode but may try sub-ohm or at least to have the option would be nice. Not really into squirking, sqounking, tc etc..
So far I like the looks of Jac Vapour Series B DNA 75W;lost vape therion 75c/166; Mirage DNA75C by Lost Vape;GeekVape Aegis 100. Love the looks of SX Mini Q Mini 200W but maybe too much box for me + there is the married batteries and only emergency usb charging. Augvape V200 200W also looks pretty cool but again 200w.
There is just so many names and makes out there that I am confused as to the reliability and quality of these different brands hence I am asking for advice/experience from the forum. dna 75 vs 75c vs yihi all seek to compound my confusion further. So far I have only really been going by pictures and some reviews.
As usual appreciate any feedback/recommendations.

The berserker does look good. I used aspire triton 2 for ages but buying coils for it was beginning to really get to me..as some of the coils didnt last very long + it almost always leaked a bit below the coil into the connecting piece although it is solidly made. I looked for a RTA and some website had the digiflavor siren 2 as THE best MTL tank on their list so I bought it. Generally I have been happy with it after first few uses where it leaked badly. I have put that down to lack of experience and now screw it down real tight. Still leaks a bit now and then through the air holes and sometimes a little bit on the bottom edges of tank that sit on my box but its manageable. It produces good flavour and clouds compared with anything else I have used. I am big on flavour, dont really care much about clouds. Would only recommend it with caution.
Would anyone know if Berserker is looser or a tighter draw than siren 2 whn fully open? I use the siren 2 with last two holes closed.. That seems to be my sweet spot.

Grab yourself some 30 or 28 AWG kanthal, you will fined it easier to get close to your preferred resistance. Though being thinner it won't be so sturdy. Agree with others, it sounds like your problems may be more related to wicking, which is basically a knack you develop to know how much is enough. Persevere - it took me a while to really get the hang of it, but when you do you will be glad that you never have to buy stock coils or prebuilt ones again Yeah I will experiment a bit once I have used this up. I am beginning to think its wicking as well. I must have totally fluked the first one I made because it lasted me ages Rest just burn/black out and I usually find them in 2 pieces broken in middle or as in today when I changed it, one leg had come off.

Ive got several spare coils of unused .3 wire if you want 1 sending FOC for you to try. 7 or 8 wraps at 2.5 mm will be around 1.2-1.4 oms IIRC. PM me an address if you want a coil sending. EDIT: You dont necessarily have to vape at 1ohm+ for MTL, I MTL at 0.8-0.9ohms. Really appreciate the offer and its very kind of you however I will try to stick to making them myself for now to get it right as I have a pre-built to go by already. May take you up on it later!! Again thanks.
