Hi vape2017 - thanks for these - don't have the TPA Banana Cream - do you reckon that 2% of TPA Banana Ripe and 2.5% of FA Fresh Cream might sub it? I've dialled this into my saved recipes and will feed back when it reaches the top of my list - (this could be many months, it's a long list!) I'm not too sure how that sub would go to be honest as to me the banana ripe is a completely different banana, you're welcome to try it though as it may work out great! xx

So these are a few of my own recipes that I've been enjoying recently that I thought I'd share with everyone, we'll start with a simple 2 ingredient Mine Pie & A Dollop Of Cream Vapable Mince Pie - 8% CCW Devon Cream - 2% This wasn't one I had plans for but Vapable sent me their Christmas bundle as a freebie as an apology for a mistake with my order , quite sweet but rather tasty Berry Tots TPA Dragonfruit - 0.75% Cap Jelly Candy - 3.75% INW Shisha Strawberry - 2.75% FA Red Touch - 1.25% Very tasty fruity mix that I really do enjoy Nice Cinnamon Bakery Vape TPA Bavarian Cream - 1.25% Cap Cinnamon Danish Swirl - 4.25% FA Zeppola 3% Quite flavourful and fluffy Reece's Expectations TPA Banana Cream - 4.5% INW Biscuit - 1.25% FA Caramel - 1.5% CCW Devon Cream - 1.75% This was the result of a game of a game I started on a facebook group I admin, we posted our flavour stash and other members then gave us the flavours to use but we picked our own %'s, the crust isn't quite where I would like it yet so I am considering tweaking slightly by adding some TPA Graham Cracker Clear or Cap Sugar Cookie but it is a tasty enough mix as it is If anyone does decide to give any of these a mix your feedback and thoughts would be greatly appreciated no matter how good or bad it may be, thanks

Much of what you're asking comes from experience, trial, error, some patience . . . . and personal tastes vape2017 , although I realise everyone has to start somewhere.
ELR is a good place for that:
You'll find a host of different recipes . . . . which can be sorted according to their popularity/rating and if you input a particular flavour, you'll find a suggested average ratio used for it. But bear in mind it is only a suggested percentage, personal tastes can ( and do! ) vary widely.
Back in the day of pre oneshots and shortfills we used to make every concentrate up as a 5 or 10ml sample, which although tedious and time consuming gave a real feel for flavours and what suited individual preferences . . . . . personally I don't think a better method has yet been found.
My suggestion, if you don't want to use oneshots which would be a good progression from shortfills, is to find a recipe or two which appeals to you and has a decent rating - buy the concentrates for those, then make them. Otherwise you could find yourself spending a lot on flavours, without necessarily ending up with anything tasty . . . . which is both frustrating and disappointing.
In addition to ELR, we've links to a number of recipe sites on this thread:
Hi and thanks, I've got 10 mixes steeping at the moment that were made from other folks recipes so hoping they turn out well! I'm not interested in one shots really tbh with you, gorgeous dog btw!! x

You need to factor in the PG or VG that the nic is in. Yeah the calc has done that for me x

Ok guys, got some cash in the bank, looking to make my own juice, looking to buy a 70vg 30pg base mix as not much space to store things etc so say I'm making 30ml juice and the calc gives me 10ml nic, 8.1ml pg, 11ml vg and 0.9ml concentrate am I right in thinking that I add the pg and vg together and use 19.1ml of the 70/30 base mix? x

its not been mentioned how big the shortfill is, 50ml or 100ml plus we need to know what strength the final nic strength you want. ive tried all nic shots and now use 50/50 nic shots from darkstar. 18 in a box for around £16 Most of them I've got are 100ml but I have a few 50ml, I'm just wanting to use them as 3mg's as it's cheaper x

Frankly I would just forget all this shortfill nonsense if % are important to you and you want to mix from different suppliers. Just buy some cheap separate vg and pg and use one of the ejuice calculators. I don't have the cash or the time at the moment to start making my own and currently fed up of the sight of scales/syringes etc as a Type 1 diabetic I'm constantly dealing with them x

Hi guys, if I buy a shortfill that is 70/30 but can get nic shots cheaper elsewhere which % of vg nic shots should I be buying to keep the juice at 70/30, I apologise in advance for stupid silly questions x Do you mean 70/30 vg/pg or 70/30 pg/vg? 70vg x

What ratio would a 100vg shot make it? x Hi, 10ml of VG would be 10% of 100ml. So your ratio would change from 70/30 to approx~ 60/40. PG/VG Cheers I Don't you mean 60vg/40pg? I'm confused!! haha, so I just need to use a 70vg shot to keep it at that? x

What ratio would a 100vg shot make it? x

Thanks for all the advice guys, sorry this forum isn't the kinda thing I'm used to so sorry for not quoting individual replies etc, I am currently using shortfills at the moment at a 70/30 and either 3 or 6mg but was looking to mix my own as a wee project/interest, I used to lead a rather busy life going out to pubs, playing darts/pool etc but I was diagnosed a Type 1 diabetic so gave all that up, I've not watched any videos but I have however done s lot of reading up on the subject and find its something I'm very interested in taking up, I have looked at one-shots on a few sites xx
