Hi guys , been vaping since November 2017, recently started thinking/looking into making my own juice, so questions - 1 - What's best to do? i.e - use a 70/30 base mix? if so how do I work out what I need? Buy separate Vg and Pg? Any help is greatly appreciated and I look forward to your responses, thanks xx

I'm a fan of Ejuicemeup for a calculator vape2017 although it's not compatible with mobile or tablet devices if you prefer to use those:
If you'd like to start off super simply, then ' Shortfills ' are an option to look at, all the mixing is really done for you, they just need a/some nicotine shots adding. How many depends on the strength you like to vape at?
If you'd like to be a little more adventurous, then there's a huge selection of excellent ' oneshot ' concentrates available, they then require separate VG/PG/Nicotine - depending again on preferences.
Have you watched any video's to give you a basic idea of the process, or read any beginners guides?

I always buy separate VG and PG bases because to be honest the math is less faff. If you buy a ready mixed VG/PG base of 70/30 and you want to make a final mix with a 50/50 ratio it's pain in the rear to work out the math, if you have separate bases the calculator will tell you just how much to add of PG and of VG to get ratio you want. I buy my bases from lucemill good value and never had an issue with the product or the service. VGPGThey even sell combo packs with VG and PG, they aren't mixed they just sell the bottles together. Combo PacksThey do premixed VG/PG too if you want it. Premixed Base

vape2017 Whatever route you take, ask as many questions as you want to. I've been a member for years here and still ask questions. Folks are always happy to help.

You do not know yourself until have experimented. The only sensible way to do that is to buy separate pg and vg and test them out. Buying pre-mix pg/vg makes that very difficult.

Thanks for all the advice guys, sorry this forum isn't the kinda thing I'm used to so sorry for not quoting individual replies etc, I am currently using shortfills at the moment at a 70/30 and either 3 or 6mg but was looking to mix my own as a wee project/interest, I used to lead a rather busy life going out to pubs, playing darts/pool etc but I was diagnosed a Type 1 diabetic so gave all that up, I've not watched any videos but I have however done s lot of reading up on the subject and find its something I'm very interested in taking up, I have looked at one-shots on a few sites xx

Thanks for all the advice guys, sorry this forum isn't the kinda thing I'm used to so sorry for not quoting individual replies etc No need for apologies vape2017 . . . . it's something that might come in time, if not then it's of no importance. I am currently using shortfills at the moment at a 70/30 and either 3 or 6mg but was looking to mix my own as a wee project/interest Fair enough . . . . we're spoilt for choice on ' oneshots ' thesedays, much comes down to personal taste and flavours that appeal to you, NomNomz currently have 50% discount on their Jax range using code JAX50SALE if any take your fancy: nomnomz.co.uk/collections/jax-custard
Here's a couple of sample calculations to give you an idea making 30ml, using 18mg nic shots in VG, mixing at 20% flavour ratio, strength 3mg 70/30: And 6mg:
