Out of interest Outnumbered, how are you finding the Riva compared to your VGO? I cant comment on the VGO Chrissie, but I bought a argento maxi for a back up for my Riva 1100,and although it's a nice tool,to my finding it does not compare in any way to my Riva for the quality of vape or the ease of handling. So the argento will stay for what it is intended, just a back up. I understand what you mean. Both my Vigos have gone to my husband. He is very happy with it as he is not interested in them like me. He just wants something to vape. The Vigo is still a decent mod though

Out of interest Outnumbered, how are you finding the Riva compared to your VGO? Well, if I recieved both on the same day, then the Riva would win outright. However, I suppose I am not comparing like for like with different juice clearomisers etc. but although I am a newbie, I honestly don't know why someone would choose the Vigo with its limitations over this?? Maybe someone can enlighten me. My kit included: 2 batteries 1100 5 Cartos 1 clearomiser 1 usb charger 1 driptip 1 Very sturdy carry case. All of this for £34.95 Most important for me is that this mod has been tried and tested by soo many people. Therefore, if I have a question I can bet someone has already asked it. Post purchase support is soo important when you are new, not only for the basics but also to enhance your vaping experience

I just got my Riva kit 1100 from vapeescape. I only ordered it yesterday! All I can say is, amazing. As usual I just dived in, attatched my clearomiser, ry4 and puffed away to my hearts content. What a vape this gives and the throat hit is yummy. First time using a clearomiser and if they stay as good as this, I am sticking with them. I keep forgetting to press the button but I know this will become second nature soon enough. One very happy woman. Just waiting on my Ego, which is my backup to my backup

As some of you know I have had a little bother with my Vgo adapters etc so I now really want another mod and would love some advice. My husband will be using both my Vigos so I will need two batteries. He is at work all day and is happy to just vape in the evening and doesn't really take much interest in them. I just hand it to him all filled up and ready to go I however, want flexibility with mine and no fuss with adapters. I would like something that has been tried and tested by lots of people so that if I do need advice on something there is a lot of info out there. To sum up I would like: Size - not too bulky, my Vigo is a perfect size for me. Power- minimum 650, I am at home all day and my mod is like a dummy! My Vigo is an automatic but I have read that this limits me but I would prefer something with a button on the front and a safety cap. I really want to try clearomizers, they look great. Please can you tell me which ones are the best, just so I can order them at the same time. Price wise, I am not too concerned. I hope I have made things a little easier for you with my list. I really appreciate the time you all put in helping me. Thanks

I hope this isn't putting you off vaping Outnumbered. It can be so frustrating when things will not work. When things do work though, vaping is fab and so much healthier than smoking. those batteries that macca linked to are super for the price but I think you would need another charger with a 510 fitting, these are usually less than £5! It may be worth going back to where you were recommended this kit and highlighting the incompatibility issues incase other newbies read your thread. I knew there was a reason these kits were not recommended here, but I couldn't remember the reason, sorry I'll go post now

The problem is it’s a 901 you have, the adapter you need is a KR808D-1 battery -> 510 cart adapter you have a 901 -> 510. The 901 adapter does not have the right airflow, the Kr808 is the same thread but it will have a turreted base on the 901 thread to allow air in to the 2 small holes just under the thread on the KR808D-1 male connection. Do you have any of our carts, take a look at the bottom of the cart the bottom of the cart has small cut-outs (turrets) that let air in to the device, the 901 connector will be flat with no turrets. Chrissie, their customer service is very good. I just got this from him. All of this on a Saturday night. So it looks like I can get an adapter

I'm not sure Outnumbered as I've never used a VGO. Jason from Vape Escape, that you bought your adapter from, is smashing, & I know he would have helped more if he could have done. But as he says, he doesn't sell the VGO. Wonder if Jac Vapour that you bought the VGO from, could help you more? However, as they don't seem to sell anything with a 510 fitting (the most widely used used threading), they may not be able to do so. Thanks Chrissie, yes Jacvapour is trying to help. Hopefully I will get it sorted so at least I know what or what not to buy in future. One thing is for sure, my backup will be a 510. No problems with the Vgo itself, but it would be easier to have more options
