I hadn't seen your post here Outnumbered, sorry. The VGO is basically the Echo 901, but we stopped selling them quite some time ago, so I don't think we will have any left. But, I will check tomorrow and if we have I'll give them a try with an adapter and Vision. Jason Thanks very much for this. There is no rush, next week is fine. Just noticed, any reason you are trying it with a vision? As that is not the ones I bought??

I always just compare it to the other nicotine products on the market. You can chew, spray, sniff, inhale or suck any nicotine product bought over the counter or prescribed on the NHS, so it would be very unlucky if vaping was the harmful method of nicotine delivery??
I do understand your concern though!

Here is the reply I got from the website. Does this mean that I can only use Vigo compatibable cartos etc. Not really sure I understand what they mean?
It sounds like the Vigo has a cut out, similar to the Echo batteries. But, I don't stock them so couldn't say for sure. Cartomiser threads can vary slightly and it's not uncommon to have them work well with a battery from one manufacturer and not with another. The only batteries that I've never had a compatibility problem with is eGo-T batteries, which is what the Vision Ego cartomisers are made for. Sorry I can't be of more help, but if you want anything tested, just pop it back to us. Jason

Great post Maccafan. I still need to study voltage etc but I understand what you are saying- a little. You are correct about the adapter, carto connection, however to confuse things even more, I now sometimes get a vap, with the adapter and carto connected and then it goes completely dead, but yes the blue light always comes on with just the adapter fitted. I am going to make a seperate thread about sr, lr, voltage etc just so I can understand it better. When I connect these to the elite, they nearly blow my head off lol They are fantastic, I just wish it was the same on my Vigo Thanks aagain for taking the time to help me

Outnumbered SR stands for Standard resistance & I think Macca meant a carto (cartomiser). It does sound to me like the problem is with your 901/808 to 510 adapter not working on your VGO, not sure how to solve the issue & feel a bit bad that I suggested you got an adapter Don't be silly I need an adapter and they are only a couple of quid. I will email the seller before I buy another, maybe he can suggest something. Thanks for all your help

Probably too much current draw for the battery and it's safety ciruit is kicking in to prevent damage to the battery.. Have you got a 510 SR cart/atty to test? Not sure I understamd you? I only have the megacarts that came with it and they are fine. What is an SR cart? Thanks for your help

www.vapeescape.co.uk/boge-510-low-resistance-%285%29~146www.vapeescape.co.uk/basket-view.asp?tempatb=1&opt=1&atb=1&id=163&variation=901+to+510Hi everyone I orderd the above adapter and cartos from Vape escape for my Vigo automatic 650 but when I attatched them the battery just goes dead like there is no charge? Now if I attatch the adapter only and suck, the blue light comes on but once I add the carto- nothing happens. I know they are full because they fit one of my elites and the vape and throat hit is fantastic. Funny thing is the cartos don't fit all my elite batteries just one of them- wierd. Please can you suggest anything. I was really dissapointed as it is my first stab at playing and it went wrong :-[

Karma, I assumed you coudn't direct drip with an automatic, which is what I have? I have 3 in front of me and filled 2 of them but cannot tell which ones. I know I will know once I attatch them but it would be good to know before, they all still look white inside lol
As for my back up, i did consider the sd keyring but I now am thinking something more powerful.

Thats the same ones Karma I was a bit confused because there is no stopper on them so I thought if I fill them ahead of time they will dry out?? Am I correct in assuming you can't use the condom method because the thread bit is elavated? One final question please and I know I cannot use this because mine is an automatic but if i was to do direct dripping with thes mega cartos, what would I need to remove. I can see the wadding and a hole is that a plastic tube? As I said everything is going great but I still want to learn as I am now looking for a back up I really appreciate your help.

Well, my VGO kit arrived today Not sure if I am using it properly as the instructions were minimal but it said to put about 25 drops in the cartos around the edges and it seems to be working great. Still not clear on the carto/ atty difference as mine is a cone shape and all the videos they are thin pencil shape. However, first impressions I am very pleased.

Welcome from me too outnumbered - like karma says you will soon notice a difference from the cig-alikes. I wouldn't worry too much about the connection - easily dealt with using an adaptor. Plus you can just get a 510 battery (e.g. Riva, eGo etc.) which will be handy as a backup. If you spend much time with karma, I predict you will soon feel the need for several backups Already there. i feel another purchase coming on
