As im just about coming up to my twelve months anniversary I thought id just share a bit of my vaping journey with you.

I am also coming up to my sixtieth birthday and had been a smoker from the age of fourteen.

My Daughter happened to mention that a friend of hers had stopped smoking using an e-cig, a few weeks later I decided to give it a go, although I must admin I didnt hold out much hope as I had tried to stop smoking umpteen times before and the longest I did without them was six weeks.

Anyway...the day came that my Daughter was gonna take me to the shop to get one and just prior to going I said to her, shall I have my final one before I go, she said no as she wasnt sure what time the shop closed................little did I know then that I would never ever have another.

The shop I went to let me try loads of juices and I eventually bought the new set up.

I was really impressed and couldnt quite believe it when it worked.........that was it I had stopped being a cig smoker...........and luckily have never touched one since, I still have an up-opened packet in my drawer.

A couple of weeks later I happened to mention e-cigs on one of the forums and Chrissie directed me to this site, for which I am very grateful.

The shop that I bought mine from closed down and had it not been for coming on here I really wouldnt have known where to get stuff from.

It hasent all been plain sailing as I have been on a very big learning curve with it all and sometimes ive felt like getting the e-cig and throwing it through the window haha...............The lovely people on here have always done there very best to help though and I have come through it, although I think we are all learning all the time.

Im sorry for going on a bit but I am so pleased that my smoking days are over, my purse is heavier and my health is much improved...................thanks for reading and thanks to Chrissie and each and every one of you that have given me all your valuable advise in the last twelve months.
