fagin - agree totally but the situation on the M6 could have been averted by a. the vaper asking the coach driver for permission and b. greater public awareness, so whoever reported it could have known it was an e cig and not a bomb.

Technically yes, the problem is with people not knowing what it is. Pubs and so on will be at landlord's discretion i guess. But the police comment on it in this article is great news, they are obviously aware of vaping and what it is/isn't. It had crossed my mind that ignorant police might think you're smoking a crack pipe ::)
