Someone once told me something like charging a battery too fast kills a certain amount of good stuff within the battery (like battery cells or something.) Once those cells are killed they can never be used again. Slow cooking kills fewer cells. I'm sure someone could correct me, but that's my understanding. This sounds sensible, and i think i have read similar things, but it could just be an urban myth. I reckon someone on here must know for sure, we must have some elastictrickery experts

Agree with Ellen! I thought my Riva was big when i first got it, now it seems quite compact.
However i also have a mini ego that i take out when i want something more discreet, that's TINY. Maybe look into one of those?

What makes it even worse is that surely he must have noticed the complete lack of unpleasant smell and lingering smoke? Numpty. Hope he gets evicted next haha.

Just watching last night's big brother (i know, i know) and Martin Kemp has just nominated Julian Clary for using an e-cig in the house! This happened when the last evictions were going on and the housemates are locked in the house, not allowed to go outside and smoke. He complained that Julian and Julie Goodyear were using e-cigs in the bedroom, since he didn't want to have to sleep with tobacco smoke in the room

Hi all,
I've just got an XTAR WP2II charger and it has 2 options for charging, 500mah and 1000mah.
I can't see why you'd ever use the 500mah, given the choice, unless there is some benefit i am not aware of in 'slow cooking' your batteries.
Can anyone advise me?
Cheers

I did try the gingerbread. It was one of the first juices I tried and i didn't like it much, unfortunately. So when i got my bottle of ginger biccies i thought i probably wouldn't like that either and ended up stashing it for weeks.
When i did crack it open, i was completely blown away - it's just like actual ginger biscuits! Fox's ones! The balance between warm gingery spice and biscuit is absolutely perfect. It's not too sweet and has a gorgeous aftertaste; sort of like you'd had a biscuit, but with no sugary unpleasantness afterwards. If you like ginger biccies, you will like this, I reckon.

So it's 1 month and 24 days since I started vaping (thanks banner!) I've tried absolutely loads of liquids, some i liked, some were pretty gross to be honest! It's been pretty frustrating trying to find something i could vape even for a whole evening. A lot of the time i've been getting really fed up of swapping around trying to find The One. But I'm pleased to report that I have found two that are just gorgeous and literally make my mouth water. And the winners are...(drum roll)...PixieJuice and her lovely ginger biccies, and vapist's murray mints. Both are really smashing flavours, just wish the murray mints came in bigger bottles

I got a lovely new car at the end of last year and didn't want to make it stink of cigs so went about 7 months without smoking while driving. Now I can vape away without leaving a vile smell :-)
Being able to vape outside on a windy day without struggling to light a fag.

I have some clearos that just seem to go on and on. The beauty of these over cartos is that if one suddenly does die you don't need to waste the juice.... just unscrew the mouthpiece and pour it back in the bottle. If a fully charged carto dies the juice is stuck in there and has to be binned. That's sort of why i am confused, i have some clearos from day 1 of vaping that are still great, but some i bought a couple of weeks in seem a bit ropey.

Can't help with the Nova as not tried it yet. But for cartos/clearos, it's really up to whether you are happy with the drop off in performance or not It's more the clearos i'm asking about really. There's no particular 'oh-oh this one is dead' sign or taste? I should just chuck it if i'm not sure about it?
