So, i had a sneaky vape at work today. I've got an office to myself so no-one saw me but i felt like i was doing something really naughty I'm sure i would have some explaining to do if i was seen! Does anyone here vape at work? How did colleagues/bosses react? I work for the NHS btw.

My boss was ok at first then she realised that it's not classed as a stop smoking aid But so long as she doesn't know I was on a course recently and my colleague and I were both allowed to vape indoors I would presume that working for the NHS, vaping at work will be a big no no. you'll just have to be stealthy

There aren't many advantages to being the boss, but allowing vaping in the office is one of them... BUT when I first was doing I felt really naughty as well

I felt too shifty to enjoy it really.
I don't want to ask anyone what the corporate stance would be because i am fairly sure that would result in the no smoking policy being swiftly revised to ban it!
Might try to avoid it except in emergencies!

Just have a sneaky stealth when the urge kicks in, do you know how not to let out vapour?

My only concern was the fire alarm going off - an LR cart filled with Grizwalds Cocomel at 5 on the Lavatube creates clouds not vapour But I haven't managed to set any alarms off yest so all is well

Well thats it basically, take a vape as normal, take it down hard, then breath in again, no vapour comes out no one knows

That's cool, have noticed the vapour vanishes very quickly, doesn't hover like stinky smoke Welcome to the forum absinthya

I read somewhere the doing what Sandra has said then breathing out a little bit and taking another gulp of air irradicates it all together - just tried it, it does!!

Try either not such a long vape or holding longer, you will get it without any

Got it! Helps if you exhale slowly as well.
