I always use two part epoxy resin glue. My local Asda do it cheap.
It sets in about 5 minutes, so you also get a bit of "fiddling about" time.

E-Pipe, Epipe, New. Small Briar Calabash, Manual, 510 connectionThis pipe was made from a briar blank, then hand finished by me. After the electrics were fitted, it was treated with beeswax and polished. That's something I am trying to find out (I know, I should have found out beforehand).
Some of these fuses are resettable and some have to be replaced when blown - I don't know which this is.
If not resettable, then it's a job replacing it. It would have to be removed from the bottom (epoxied in) and rewired.

I do and it's going really well. In fact, if you look at the pipe picture I have just posted you will see it on there. Only using a single coil on it and wicked/coiled it as per a Kayfun.
The air adjustment is very useful, too. All threads smooth and clean, etc.
It's very well made and finished, in my opinion and worth the money.

There's a guy in Greece with a mountain of Briar blanks also does raw churchwarden stems. I have a link thingie to his flea bay shop somewhere I'll hunt it out if you want. Very good. Thank you. |

never attempted a mod but could be tempted to experiment with one of these, is there a basic tutorial anywhere which utillises cannabilised parts from an ego type battery any one can point me towards?
