I have neither but from watching videos on various genesis atomizers, it looks like the asthetics is one thing, but also some have the ability to configure them differently like to turn a tank one into a dripping atomizer, also the aga-t might have the same materials but some of the more expensive ones have like thicker metals and maybe threads that will last longer too. I guess if u kept them in good condition tho they could last ages. One thing against the more expensive ones tho, is some are really rare so ull be waiting a while to get them, also if u like to have many flavours on the go u'd ned to buy quite a few, unless u switch the flavours in them. I guess if ur gonna go for the best vape too ud also need to get the best flavours to start with, like either already made or diy and test out various pg/vg ratios, flavour ratios, adding sweetner, vape wizard, ph balance etc afaik the aga-t takes u wicks, dual coils and can put silica and mesh and any other type of new materials they come up with

yea I think they played around with the air holes in the different versions, if u cover one up with a a finger u can test it with less air tho and if its good just cover it up with blue tack or something

I think the ability to change air holes is also to make the draw tighter or more airy

I was looking at the prices and I think the vendors might sell it a bit less than their rrp as their other products usually have like a 20% higher rrp ish than they usually sell for. Also noticed that they show pricing in usd/eur/gbp and the starter kit is listed there at 98.08 gbp and 139 usd, however at current exchange rates 139 usd is about 87gbp so a good 10% lower if bought in usd. Also the difference between the start kit and buying the control head and battery tube is about 17gbp , for their usd quote its 24usd (15gbp) so ultimately if buying in usd the max price should be around 72gbp, might be 50-60gbp though when its out Might end up going for that option as the difference is just a usb cable+wall plug + 1 battery

Did anyone else try and install the "My Vapour Record" software to have a nosey... doesn't seem to work with windows 7, either that or the device has to be plugged in to load the software :/ I did download a file but it was the firmware upgrade only in .bin format, couldn't figure out where the actual software was but had a look at this video (in German) that shows the eVic being tested and it looks that the top part thats cone-shaped/rounded can be unscrewed and then replaced for a flat top-type cover. video: Also he shows the software in the video and when linked to the eVic it'll show stats such as the current voltage and current battery mah, seems the current voltage here refers to the setting itll vape at rather than the battery's power, tho I could be wrong. Also unsure whether the current battery mah is the batteries capability or current capavity. I wonder if you stop vaping when the evic shows the battery at 0 what the voltage would be though might end up having to stop using at 30% or something if 0 battery means it has drained to 3.2 or somthing low.

Sweet, thanks for the links, gonna have to try out a few things then! If only the vivi tank was as simple as the vivi nova, looks like witht eh vivi tank i'll need some no res wire and a good way to attatch them, I think i read u can just twist it round the wire a bit, but the stock one has some gold looking attatchment. I'll stick with the vivia nova for now tho, easier to fill up too as u dont hav to stick a syringe into hole the wick goes into and risk messing the wick up a bit Yea seems the stainless mesh might b easier to work with than sorting out the cotton wick, gona try that some day, would need to get one of those high powered lighters tho and to make sure its oxidised, seems the shopping list is endless heh

maybe the puff reminder wakes you up in the night and reminds you that you havnt vaped for many hours Just had a look at the manual for the software and it looks like it records the amount of puffs per day and the ohms and voltage during those puffs, I guess this could be useful when trying out some new attys, seeing how much vapour they give off. Also you can see if someones been vaping away when not using the device lol maybe it can become self aware and detect if you are not using their ego cones or joye liquid it also counts up the time each vape (seems to max out at 10s) and shows the battery level out of 100, but doesnt look like it checks the battery voltage this bits a bit odd: "It can be assembled directly with Joyetech 510 and eGo series atomizers and can also be assembled with more atomizers with an adaptor." ??? The top being cone like does mean the wider atomizers wont sit very flush on it tho I'll still want the biggest ego yet when its out, just hope it has a vent hole and the enter button is nice

it checks atty resistance too, tells u the temperature and has a "puff reminder", that video looks nice too - good to see them justify their high prices finally Going to be hard to make knock offs, can't wait to see them hehe I wonder if it starts charging as soon as you connect the USB, wouldnt like that to happen with its 2600mah battery, comes with a wall charger at least - also theyre going with samsung batteries not their own brand

Sweet, will try this out, yea i remebered on my old vivi v1 or stone tank (not sure which one it is) it had quite a thin wick, or maybe just a few small strands and didnt wick too badly so i'll try making some notches.

looks good, nice walkthrough Des, do u find that the wider wicks are better than the smaller ones like 1mm? I guess in theory they should both be similar, maybe i'll try untwining the wicks and put them together somehow, I'm getting very dry hits off those standard heads with the 4 or 5 1mm ones

The vivi novas dont seem to require nonres wire, I havnt re coiled one yet tho, also it seems alot of the shops dont sell the non res wire but wires.co.uk has 99%+ pure silver wire which I assume is for non res, might need to pick up some soon. I think with regards to the wick, the thicker ones like 2.5mm 3mm and 3.5mm might do better on the vivi nova or on quite a few devices where ur using long wicks, some devices with thin wicks seem to do better when they are quite short like bottom coil ones. At least thats what it seems so far for me, i have some vivis with thick wick and it vapes nice but some with maybe 4 or 5 strands of 1mm with the coild around 3 or 4 and an extra one as the flavour wick and it doesnt seem to vape great, those wicks are much shorter too which might make some difference. I assume theyre all silica too. Gonna go for the stainless steel 400 or 500 mesh too at some point I found also with the vivi tank that they come with very loosely wrapped coil and kept getting a burnt taste, eventually examined the coil when heating and the part no where near the coil but still part of the resistance wire was gettin red hot so i think the burning is from that, so I guess its a good thing to watch out for

The flavours can be a mixed bag. I didnt like some of the baccy ones but others are ok like the fruit and dessert..as is the coffee (with a bit of added french vanilla). For the price its worth a punt (no idea why it says 99cents seeing as is a uk company ??? ) Yea 99 cents would be nice Looks like I'm gonna old off buying from china at the moment I heard their king of tobacco is a good tobacco flavour, though I don't use any tobacco liquids, maybe worth trying out
