You haven't been here long enough to make such a massive generalisation about the forum or it's members. You are very likely to alienate people with such a remark and those who might have kept their eyes open for a Penelope for you may now choose to not be so vigilant.

To be fair to Jayjay, he bought this specifically so that he could pass it on to someone who may want to buy one at cost. He's spent the time and effort and hasn't made any profit.
GG products aren't supposed to be easy to come by, yet they have been fairly easy for people on classifieds the last couple of weeks. If you really want one you have already been directed to some on UKV, it was a lot more difficult for some of us to get hold of them, I thought that was part of the justification of high prices

You seemed to be initmating that there's "Elitism" here and I can ASSURE you that there's not!

I waited a couple of weeks before I got mine, admitedly I was lucky, I had had a couple of "just missed" before this, they are a rare item, many people want them and persistence and some patience is the key. Implying that people show favouritism when you've only just asked makes it sound like you're whining and will alienate people who are only too willing to help you.
