Well so far i'm £16 up on not smoking, so i'm still ok right now, but it will only take 1 more purchase for me to be going into the black.....lol I've got 80mls of juice winging it's way to me from different directions at the moment though, and at the rate i'm vaping this will last me 2 months, so if i can stop buying shiny new toys i'll soon be seeing the cash benfits which will be saved for my hols next year.  |

I've ordered some too, with extra flavour as I also like to be able to taste it properly. Think I need to stop buying stuff now, or I wont actually be saving anything by not smoking! lol  |

Ah ok, thanks Brian. The samples i got where all 20mg nic and I'm finding I'm not even getting through 1ml of juice a day, so I'm wondering if its because the nic is a bit high for me, so when I order my next lot I wasn't sure whether to get the 20mg again, or the next one down which is 10mg, but I wasn't sure if this would effect the flavour.

As a few others have pointed out a sample selection is the best way to start, that way you won't waste to much money if you decide you don't like the flavour. I bought a pic-n-mix from VapeEscape choosing flavours I ordinarily love, and I have to say that the two chocolate ones I chose I can't stand, and I love chocolate! So it just goes to show that its quite difficult to gage what you're going to like. Don't worry though, if you find you don't like any you can put a post on these boards in the 'swap' section and see if anyone else wants them in exchange for something else, so all is not lost. #icon_thumbsup#

Ok next question - when buying e-liquid, if you chose a lower nic content is the flavour of the juice stronger, or does the nic have no bearing on this?

Hi Maggie, and welcome to the forum. I'm quite new to all this too, only started vaping a few weeks ago, but I've just taken delivery of a Riva starter kit and its fantastic, so easy to use. Just buy some juice and away you go. Everyone here is really friendly and full of great advice so just ask away and you'll soon get to know what everything is. |

On the topic of clearo's, can anyone tell me what the difference is between the v2 and v3 vision ego's, in as much as I understand the v3 is obviously the latest version but is there actually much difference?

I have noticed I have increased the amount I vape, not so much on frequency, but more the amount I have when I do vape. When I started out with my skycig, I was using 1 carto per day (I don't care what they say, you ain't getting 30 fags worth out of 1 carto), then when I got my riva, and started using clearos and tanks, I have noticed a big increase in what I am using. I started out on a 0.8ml carto per day from skycig, I'm now caining a 2.5ml tank of juice per day on my mini nova. I was just wondering what everyone else gets through in a day, and by comparison if I am fairly normal in my use, or a little heavy I started with skycigs too, and I was using maybe 1 carto every 2 days. Since I've been using the Riva (bear in mind I only got it a few days ago!) I've not yet used a full 1.6ml in a day. I topped the one i've got up this morning, and it's still on 0.8ml's. To be fair, I have used a skycig a bit today, but I think this may be due to the fact that the sample of liquid i'm vaping is 20mg nic which is high for me, so i'm just using it less. |

Oh ok, I was just trying to get my own smileys to work from one of the chrome extensions. Usually you copy and paste the code and they just come up, but it wont let me do it on here. Thanks for helping though.
