Just on the tail end of all this crap myself, first time I've been off work due to illness in the last 8 years. This cold started in early January and every time I thought it had gone it came right back. Spent last week with a chest infection that's still making my mornings a painful coughing fest. Wish you well soon, and any other poor bugga that has it. Exacty the same here but with added annoying wheezing/whistling in the throat , usually starting at 4 in the morning that only a cup of tea & a good hack will resolve ,a cold 3 to 5 days maybe a week tops to clear your system but this bloody thing 2 months & only now do I feel I'm getting over it .

WOW Floating Anarchy ......my most loved album of all time , spent many a night dropping white lightning listening to Gong in my youth , Allez Ali Baba , what tune ...helps if you're smashed out of your brain though , was lucky enough to catch the Here & Now Band at the Tricorn , Portsmouth where the played the whole of the Floating Anarchy album , it was mind-blowingly amazing. Saw Hawkwind last year & for me it really depends on how much of their old stuff they play , Pyschedelic Warlords imo are much better , they really thrash out some good Hawkwind tunes , they go under the name Eclectic Devils now ,well worth seeing. I loved Gong - I never got to see them. I tried once. They were playing at south bank poly i suppose in the late seventies. A mate and I decided (worse for wear) that we should try to go. We got to London and realised that had no idea where south bank poly was. Then got kicked out of a newsagent trying to read an AtoZ (pre-google maps) and sat in a park in the Oval getting even more out of it. Fun days. I found a very worn out copy of You when I got a USB turntable a couple of years ago - just a brilliant album. Sorry to hijack your thread anubis , but you start to play one song.... Managed to see Daevid Allen)RIP) a couple of times , Boscombe Academy when I talked a load of my mates into going , they walked out half way through during a weird tune as Allen dressed up as Zero the Hero walked about on stage with a blown up condom on his head/face , & the Joiners , Southampton 20 years ago but can't remember much about that one , white lightning again , Here & Now Band are still touring , must make the effort to see them again before they get carted off to a nursing home , funnily enough I was listening to You Friday night ...only got to listen to Sprinkling of Clouds & I'm away with the pixies again

That's basically a copy of the Gigue Dolphin , the ceramic heating element looks like it comes from the same factory , even the packaging is the same , had the Dolphin for a couple weeks but a hacking cough that will not shift has stopped me from putting it through it's paces
