Hi all 3 weeks off the Stinky's yesterday so all good on that front.
BUT............ These V3 rebuildables............
I got some nice new juices to try, apple and Cinnamon, chocolate chip cookie with hazelnut bits, strawberry and cream and ry4.......
I put each in a brand new V3 rebuildable, first few vapes, all lovely, then all a nasty burnt taste, this happened with the last V3 too.
Is it me? am I doing something wrong? Anyone else experience this?
TIA Dan.

Thanks guys, sorry have been absent for a week there. And thanks des, followed your instructions and have been back using my original clearo for another week, and it is vaping perfectly. Have had a few days with little or no flavour, my tastebuds adjusting I assume, but have just vaped through it, while not an enjoyable situation, it still kept stinky cravings at bay. So 2 weeks and a day clear from stinkys, and painlessly, an absolute first for me! One query tho, I have decided it is time to get some new flavors to try out, which leads to another question, I assume it would be best to get dedicated cleros or cartos for this purpose. Before I decide on which road to go down here, I am going to beg some of you good folks for experience. When I washed out my original clearo that came with my Riva kit, I filled the ego vision 3 rebuildable the night before (my thoughts where to allow it to fully wick through the juice, so the next day I had a new clearo to use. So washed out the original as per Discodes's instructions, and left it to dry 24hours on a towel on a radiator. The ego I have not used since, it was not a happy experience First few puffs where fine, the 3rd a really horible burnt taste, which faded after a few puffs, but keeps coming back, now the clearo was full of juice, and still is. Have just tried it again, with a view to washing out the original again, but still getting the burnt taste. Anyone else experienced this? Is it maybe a faulty head? I should probably try another head in it. I like the clearos from the point of view I can fill up well in advance of them running dry, as it obviously makes sense they should last longer due to this. (in my head anyway lol) I don't want to order more of these if this is a common problem. I have looked at the Kanger T2 2.4ml Tanks, they seem to be rebuildable, and have a higher capacity, Anyone have any experience with these? They might be more suitable as one fill a day would maybe do me with them. TIA Dan.

Well folks, It has been a week and a few hours lol, with my Riva 1100 deluxe kit. What can I say? Well I'm happy, no cigs at all from monday night last week. It has been a painless transition! I definitley get a day and a half out of a battery, I'm still using the clearo that came as part of the kit, and all but about 30mins per day that is all i have used. I have just been topping it up well before it gets the chance to run dry. For the 30 mins i'm not using it, I have a Boge xxl lr carto with tank full of pure menthol E-Liquid, just to help clear the sinuses lol. I am interested just to see how long this clearo lasts. Anyway just thought I would share that lol Dan.

Oh, was out today, to get stuff to fill the fridge for the week lol. Was standing outside the shop sort of half trying to hide as I had a vape. Not something I have ever seen anyone doing here, or maybe just never noticed before. Anyway, as I was standing there seen 2 folk walking in my direction, I couldn't believe it, they where walking along quite happy to vape away, they stopped and we had a bit of a chat, 2 lovely people, fairly new to the game too, they had also got their kit from vape escape. Small world eh? getting bigger tho So I told them about this forum, and the friendly helpfull lot you folk are. And also told them about vapefest Ireland. So hopefully they will be along to say hello soon too. I'm quite shy in public, and quite forgot to even ask they're names lol. So if you guys do get here and read this, It was nice to meet some fellow vapers! Dan.

A nice list of cars there guys!
Re. the Altea have you taken it to the stealer to be looked at, there are problems with all the V.A.G 2.0 TDI's from 2006ish up until this year believe it or not, bad injectors. I know this both from family and friends, 2 Audi clubs that I am a member of, and a world of Audi forums lol. For example a friend traded in his A3tdi for a passat and was complaining of only getting 35-38mpg out of his 2.0tdi. After telling him he went to the dealers, they did try to argue a bit, but changed the injectors and he is now getting high 40's all day long.
oh as for Audi's I started with an Creg B2 90CD then 2 B3 90 2.2E's, 2 B3 90 2.3E's, 2 B4 80's (2.0E and a 1.9TDI) A facelift B5 A4 TDI 115 and back to my current 90 lol. There have been a wide variety of cars inbetween, 4 MK2 golfs, polo, passat, fords, renaults, peougeots, Toyotas most notably an MR2 Turbo that broke my heart with turbos and petrol lol. Have been in search of a quattro everytime since my first Audi, but seem to have a knack of finding virtually perfect 2 wheel drive cars, where as I never seem to find a quattro that hasn't been badly treated.
One day I will lol.

It's a 22yr old Audi 90 2.3E, An addiction worse than smoking nearly lol, Its my 9th Audi, 6th of that particular model. I like the classic Audi's, although, that is more of a modern classic.

Yep, I'm satisfied I could get a full day out of a charge now, I had intended to see exactly how long I could get but the strength of the vape has took a definite decline in the last hour. Have also tried the Boge xxl lr carto in a tank, while still good I think I prefer the clearo for vape and ease of use............. still early days tho lol Depending on how long the original clearo lasts and the rebuiladable vision ego 3 lasts between rebuilds...... think that might be for me. Although really wanna try the pheonix bottom coil and the vivi nova rebuildable............. Damn this Is turning into a hobby already! lol

Question............
How long on average do these Riva 1100 batteries last on a full charge?
I have been using the same one from 11 yesterday morning....... do they give you a warning that they are needing charged or do they just stop working?
I'm assuming it is best to fully discharge before recharging to maintain life and sterngth of the battery or am I wrong?
TIA Dan.

Hi and welcome Mkcpapa,
I started with the E-Lites last wecnesday, and run into the same problem with the battery. You can refill the carto's on them, I refilled all mine this morning, all be it with great difficulty removing the white mouth piece as it is in there tight and hard plastic rather than the rubber on the carto's you buy for other kits.
After some research and the help of the nice folk on here, I ordered and received the Riva 1100 deluxe kit along with some other stuff (went a bit mad with the visa card lol). BUT I am well impressed and happy, you wont be dissapointed with that kit.
I too was a heavy smoker, never one out of my hand, I have been puffing away at the riva from shortly after 11AM 11/09 now 12hours and the battery is still going strong.
Best of luck, Dan.

Thanks Des,
It seems I have just 3.2v, 3.7v, and 4.2v settings on the passthrough. For now the 3.7v setting is working best for me, 3.2 not enough, 4.2 was choking me lol Will be interesting to see what it is like with a carto instead of the clearo I am using now.
