Any plans to do a twin 18650? I was thinking of doing a twin 18650 yes but it would probably be in the new year now mate. I've been racking my brain trying to think of a way of making a twin 18650 that could double as a squonker, so one of the battery sections could hold the juice bottle. Seems doable but trying to come up with a good way of connecting the bottle up. Mev Any plans on doing a Dna40 in the same style I hadn't planned on it no mate but never say never. |

Is the battery user replaceable? lovely looking mod and the pricing is bang on considering what i have just seen coming out of china @ a staggering £150 www.elegantvapour.co.uk/create-your-own/sx-mini-mod-bundle.htmlso for the same money a customer could buy a mass produced one of these from china or a lovingly produced mod made here in the UK for the same money, keep up the good work Mev Yes mate, it's just a 18650 battery and you just need to unscrew the bottom plate to get access and swap out the batts. |

I've tried to keep the price as low as possible VapingBad  Not easy with price of components though. They look stunning Mev and about £20 cheaper than a Hana!!! Absolutely stunning. If I had the cash I would buy one. Unfortunately little ones birthday and crimbo coming up. If you could hold one till January I'd definitely be up for it. I have plenty of materials and can make you one for January when you're ready mate. |

I've made 4x new mods for sale, one is complete shown below and other 3 are almost complete. Body is American Black Walnut and wax polished, a lovely dark brown hard wood. Front and bottom plates are Nickel plated aluminium. (could be gold or silver plated if needed for extra). SX350 50W electronics with charger socket, can be upgraded to 60W with a download from Yihi website and connection to PC/Laptop. Fat Daddy V4 510 spring loaded connector stainless steel. Stainless steel push button. Upgraded 16 guage wires used. Comes with a TorchyBoy 30Amp 2100 mAh 18650 battery fitted. (Sony VTC4 inside). Charging cable supplied so can be charged from any USB socket PC/Laptop etc. If/when you want to change the battery it's simply a case of unscrewing the bottom plate (pozi screw) and swapping it out with a new one. No up/down buttons... The mod uses gravity sensors, therefore doing away with the up/down adjustment buttons. You use the fire button to scroll through the menu options and tilt the mod left/right to make adjustments. I was a little skeptical about the sensor myself until I built one using it and now much prefer it to up/down buttons. All hand made and plenty of blood sweat and tears gone into them. The black anodised one was for personal use, just made a couple for friends since and just on with 5 more that will go up for sale. Same design as the last one but with a Walnut body and a little smaller. Couple of bad pics of them in various states of progress...   |

Although it looks ok from the pics it could just need more wicking material, if you don't get enough in juice can leak through but it's usually a gurgle not a flood.

I gave up trying to use sweeteners of any kind in my mixes because of the sickly after taste, tried them all stevia included. Ended up just sticking with heavy VG mixes which give it a slightly sweeter taste than PG.

I'd like to see him do a video wrapping .20 kanthal with it. He's wrapping 0.65 kanthal there which of course works very well with those, not the same with finer wires though.

I've only got 0.20, 0.34 and 0.5. The largest was good, smallest was pretty bad and the medium so-so. Just as easy winding a coil by hand to be honest.

I made a prototype earlier from delrin and brass rod and to be honest they're not that great. They work much better with very thick wire like in the video but not so good with finer wires. Made it with 3mm one side and 2mm on the other, also 2 short rods on the other section different measuements from center for different wire gauges.   |
