Decided to get myself a SX350 chip and build a box mod. Will have a metal trim top and bottom and the body will be walnut wood. A few pics so far....       The grain on the walnut runs the wrong way really but I had to work with the only off cuts I have. Dimensions I am aiming for are H100mm x W50mm x D25 mm. 8mm trim top and bottom (thinner than in the pic). Also hoping to make a metal frame for the window. |

Spot on you can start making then you would do well as there is not a lot of wood ones about on the sx range in fact I haven't seen one yet

Yes the 350 is the one with updates you can download, the chip I have is up to date so far to 50W. I've been going to make a mod for sometime using a dna 20 or 30 but seeing the SX350 gave me the nudge I needed, it seems an excellent chip. |

Mev probably too late or you might of already done it (cant tell by the picture) but the SX350 screen is a lot smaller than it looks, i.e you only need a little cut out for the display as most of the edges of the glass screen is blank, i think it is 13.12mm wide by 10.6mm height: docs.google.com/file/d/0B61oDGxskBGhRkJIa05jbXlDdVE/edit?pli=1p.s Looking great m8

At the moment the window is cut to same size as the glass but when i make the metal frame it'll be smaller.
