After a very quick read through I voted better than expected but ...... these are all just recommendations based on the consultation and could be changed ?? That`s the Government`s position, no need for it to be changed (worsened) at all. |

I think there is little doubt that it will be probably a lot less than half that quoted price in six months time, interesting material though. Might even be something else out there using it already |

I see they have sold one, probably a guy from China  , they already know the full specs because someone asked them to create the production run .... clones are just the Friday run as everyone is preparing for an early finish and travel home that's why any competent company (unlike apple) contracts the factory and pays for it to be operated Tuesday to Wednesday to create their product and collects the finished production runs on Thursday evening giving themselves the leverage of not paying to create the QA rejects aside from that the idea of an everlasting coil sounds promising and I would expect a reworking of the design to allow for a top fill tank with the atty being inverted removing the need for a wick and thus providing the one item that replaces all the others (no doubt this will be bought up by BAT or similar big bucks company and become the defacto product for licensing as a disposable mass market tank in the future) there are a lot of manufacturers in China, "competition" is wonderful  |

Having read a lot of it, it looks like a well balanced response with a lot of consideration given to the ecig market. Little creedance has been given to the various scare stories that have multiplied since the TPD was put under consultation. IMO they have shown a lot of consideration and understanding as regards ecigs. Pretty positive really and much better than many expected.

It`s a long read, over 100 pages but I`m liking that "not ban cross border sales", also "Adopt transition periods in TPD2, allowing the sell-through of old stock until 20 May 2017", early days though Stock up vendors |
