This is a bit of a strange one. No display and you appear to only control the power by the resistance of the coil that you fit. It has a built in 3000mah battery. It is TC, comes with an atty and coil heads including a nickel one. Am I missing something here???

If it`s the tank I am thinking about, the spring in the 510 tank base can give similar problems to that. They are a bit on the weak side so dont contact as firmly as they ought to. It`s possible to change it for a slightly stronger spring. A strip down of the base and clean up of everything can cure it, but no guarantee that it wont come back. Another thing I found on mine was that if the coil unit is not screwed in pretty tightly, it can do the same thing

I questioned isabel22 about the stock level situation in the UK and got this reply 18 Sep 2015 at 10:22 robby said: The most important questions that a UK vaper will ask himself are
1.Is the price okay? ......................................always is a good price from Gearbest. 2. Can I REALLY be sure that the item is in stock in the UK Warehouse ........................................... because of difficulties in the past about presales being late etc, people have a lot of mistrust about stock levels. You can take all of that mistrust away by showing accurate LIVE stock levels like I show in the picture above. Many vapers will become very loyal to Gearbest if you can add something like that. It`s the most important factor
Hi, Robert yes, the problem about accurate stock we really need to improve it. and we are really doing it . for the Chinese warehouse , it still an problem, but for the UK and usa warehouse, although the accurate stock we can not show it on page, but all the items you find in the uk warehouse, they are in stock , if not , the page will be shown out of stock. Our experience this week has shown that to be the case despite doubts from us sometimes. I certainly have a lot more faith in stock levels in the UK warehouse. If it could be done (LIVE stock levels) then GEARBEST EU(UK) would be the very FIRST place that a vaper would go to get almost any mod and the word would get around quickly that they could be totally relied on. Maybe one day The first CHINA company that does this will do VERY WELL from a UK Warehouse

I would have banned cigars, hate the smell. I suspect it`s something you have to smoke regularly to be able to enjoy yourself, much like cigarette smoke. The smell seems to get neutralised in your brain if you smoke them.

A thing worth remembering is that every time you fire the mod, the wire will heat up and expand. Of course this will also happen to the wire between the screw and the post. When it cools down it will shrink back to slightly less thickness than before as it is effectively thinner. The softer the metal, the more it will be affected this way. Tightening too much when you build the coil/atty wont help because you are already flattening the wire slightly and when it gets heated and cooled a few times it will still shrink a little. I`ve seen a lot of this with nickel coils on my atties. If you nip them up once a day it should take care of it. You might be surprised at the number of times you find the screw slightly loose, especially when cold the next day. It takes very little difference in the efficiency of the connection to lose a few hundredths of a ohm (sometimes more) and upset all the calculations made on the board of the mod. Any tanks with springs in them have given me issues as well, the connection is so critical with such low resistance coils. You probably wouldn`t notice it on something with a 1.8 coil on it which used to be regarded as low resistance

Well SS does work in Nickel mode,18 watts, 230F,normal,SC,0.00630, 4 wraps of .5mm at 3.5mm diameter. Dont be totally hung up by any of the figures apart from the coil. I`ve been dripping for the past couple of hours and it`s working great. Going to make two 8 wrap coils tomorrow in parallel which should give me the same resistance and try it with the same settings. Will post back here. Even at 230F with this set up, it`s a nice warm vape. Equivalent warmth to the normal nickel coil at the right temperature etc. Flavour and vapour is great.
The SS wire will be very much more flexible if you heat it first, it gets very easy to work with, let it cool slowly. If you quickly dunk it in cold water it will harden again.

I have started ignoring the AWG and just going by wire thickness, seems to sink into the old grey matter a bit easier
