I'm a big Mrs Browns Boys fan, but I was disappointed with the first episode of this series and I haven't seen it since. I loved the previous series though and was telling everyone I knew about it.
Glad you mentioned the DVD, I was going to buy it.

Well I'm stuck at home so much these days I'm reduced to watching any old dross. I do like Denise Welch though.
Watching Flog It now.

That sounds like a genuine flu and if that's the case, there's no way you'll be at work tomorrow. It even takes a while to get over the flu once you've got over it if you know what I mean!
Flu is nasty! Hope you feel better soon.

I do think most people aren't aware of this, which is why I thought I'd share it with you.
TBH, I don't read the T&Cs, but I always check/uncheck the boxes that ask 'can we share with carefully selected third parties' and 'can we contact you by email/phone blah blah'.
MY OH's insurer was definitely a third party. Flippin cheek.

Further to that though, Storm. I hadn't hit the site of my OH's insurers as I don't think they are on there at all. But he still accessed the details.

I am clearly so naive! I was irritated that he could do that so readily. Mercedes? Cool! I wouldn't have got a phone call from it as I put our number as 0000000000 until I was ready to commit to buy. I didn't get a Meerkat. or Nectar points. :-[ Interestingly though, Admiral gave us the best price on each website, though it still varied wildly. I have to say I HATE the way everyone has access to everything. I got some random post with details for the NEC Home Exhibition in Birmingham - whaaaat? Where did they get my name and address from?

Just thought I'd share this with you....... Bought son a car and he's 22, so needed to get best deal for his age group. Went on the insurance comparison websites and then tried Aviva and Direct Line, which were looooooads more expensive. Asked OH to check with his insurers as son had previously been a named driver on his policy, so thought it may help. As OH was on the phone to them, he was struggling to give the spec on the car as we hadn't picked it up yet so he didn't have the paperwork and I had the details in another room. 'It's okay' says blokey, 'I can see you've been on the comparison websites and it's a Daewoo Matiz, so I have the details here'. What on earth? Is nothing sacred? I'd had to create accounts with secure passwords on these websites - what a crock! Would you consider this to be a security breach? I think it's a flippin cheek.

You're right, Bel. Expensive and limited - but that's what makes a mainland shopping trip such fun.

I *think* Liz Earle sell on ebay. I know someone who had a temp job there and she said they were warned about selling their freebies on ebay as they already had a presence.
