I use some of that grippy rubber stuff from the pound shop which I've cut to size to fit in the well just in front of the dials in my van. I can then just rest my vamo on that without worrying about scratches or it falling off.

I Quit

Since getting my did clone I have wasted about 8 hours trying to make the mesh wick work but every single time I think I've done it, a vape or 2 later and I get a hot spot or a coil which goes pop. The mesh is blacker than Black and I've watched enough videos to know I've done everything right but it still does not want to work. I've given in and gone back to my trusty vivi nova.

My package finally arrived from China today... I've got a nice Black chrome vamo and the mini did kit which came with some mesh and wire... The thing is, I don't have the slightest clue how to set it up! (The vamo is fine) but the did???
If anyone either has a guide I can read or watch or can tell me how to do it, I will be very grateful.
Kind regards Chiller.

I cant see how I could get electrocuted if the batteries are in the charger and they are basically just sat in the tin.

I got some Jack Daniels fudges in a nice tin for Christmas which I'm going to cut a hole out charging leads. I know I should also put a small vent hole for gases too but I don't think any harm would come of it if I don't.

Oh ffs! After writing this I've just got up and my lt fell out of my dressing gown pocket and even though it landed bottom 1st from about a foot off the ground, because the tank is glued to the metal its cracked! I'm well fked off! I'm going to take it back tomorrow and tell the guy its faulty due to a ill thought out design. I'm getting my money back too!

After damaging the threads on my LTv2 which stopped it from making a connection to my Vivi Nova v5 I bought a vamo but I've also been using a cheap ego t to put me on until it arrives. I decided to boil wash my vivi nova over the weekend after having a few drinks and having a dirty coil. The v5 shrank and distorted with the heat although it still worked, it was knackered. I decided to buy an overpriced vision vivi nova stv from my local "Toga Wearing" ecig shop and when I got home, I thought I would try it on my old LTv2, which has just been left at the back of a drawer. I put the battery in, screwed on the vn stv, added some juice and boom! Its alive again!
I've been enjoying vaping apple pie and custard for the 1st time in about 2 Weeks at 5.2v (2.4ohm head) and so far, no burnt taste!
Just a little info about the "Toga Wearing" STV. Not only have they stuck a stupid devil logo on the metal sleeve, they have also made the sleeve non removable so I can't buy any other colours without buying another STV!
I think this practice is disgusting and product branding gone mad! I know I say I won't use them again and again but this time I mean it! I'm so annoyed I can't replace the sleeve when I paid £15 for the bloody thing!

My God! I thought they solved the injector seal problem with the 1.4tdci fiesta mk6! (the 1.6 didn't suffer from the problem) hmm... Perhaps see if ford did a recall on the seals, you might need them upgrading to a better version. I'm sure they recalled the 1.4 tdci fiesta iirc.
What about the clutch? Is it needing to be replaced or new? If its new, it might need all the old flywheel dust cleaning out.
I strongly recommend you look in detail at the oil you're putting in too, it could end up with your turbo going bang if its the wrong stuff.
Also, don't worry about putting you're foot down, they can take it believe me and tbh, it's actually good for the engine because its running faster and hotter which stops carbon deposits building up. If it was drove slowly or on short journeys or both by its previous owners, it will need someone to physically open the engine up and clear them out as after a while, they go solid as a rock.
If I was you I would get the engine oil flushed 2 or 3 times and then use a high quality fully synthetic oil replacing the oil filter with a performance one (k&n) get the internals of the engine cleaned. if you can get upgraded injector seals, get them fitted. Put a performance air filter in (k&n) (not the mushroom head kits, just one which fits in the standard air filter box) give it a nice clean with every bit of meguires nxt tech products you can find (oh and meguires hot wheels for the tyres) and plenty of big microfibre cloths.
Once you have done that, you will have a car what looks like new and hopefully runs like new too.
