I'd add Ethyl Maltol (stevia is probably better value, but costs more initially - you don't need both), Cooling Agent (http://www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/epages/yxve46fvrnud.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/yxve46fvrnud/Products/DIY/SubProducts/DIY10-01) and Dulche de Leche (also from C9V). Also have a look at Cupcake World for better value flavourings www.cupcake-world.co.uk. Also you can buy menthol crystals for about £1.30 from Boots, better not to tell them what you're using it for though. Fill a 10ml bottle halfway with the crystals, top up with PG, shake til dissolved (you may need to warm it up a bit), use sparingly. MUCH cheaper than buying menthol flavouring.

Me four, this is easily the nicest place on the web and a lot of that is down to the mods and all the hard work they put in. Merry Christmas to all!

Well, just ordered from liberty. Just a mini with a spare 2.4 head. Im used to 2.4 [measured a dying CE4 at just over 2 ohm], and the kits have 1.8 and 2.8. Thanks to everyone for your excellent help and advice. Excellent choice! One more thing - don't chuck the atty head when it dies. They can be recoiled and rewicked for pennies - you may not feel like learning about that just yet but the head won't take up a lot of room and you never know...

I just want something that reasonably resembles the taste of Old Holborn baccy. No, I don't want to smoke .... err vape coffee You may very well end up vaping all sorts of things - confirmed OH smokers have been known to end up vaping only Vanilla Custard Seriously though, stuff like how long does it (whatever it is) lasts before one needs to recharge/refill, etc. I'm trying to figure out how long a starter kit lasts, compared to let's say 20 rollies or a packet of fags. The starter kit I linked to above should last you a day on full charge - you get two batteries so you can have one charging while you use the other. 10ml of juice should last a couple/3 days, or more. The kit comes with clearos that take 1.6ml, will maybe need refilling once or twice a day but that's easy with these. The batteries are usually good for around 300 charges, so more than 6 months out of the batteries, you'll probably need a few more clearos in that time as they do eventually die (keep them well maintained ie clean them once or twice a week and they'll last longer) and you'll need a steady supply of juice. I've heard OK Smokey (Google him) does some of the best baccy flavours, or try our very own Frogster at The Alchemist's Cupboard for baccy juices made from real baccy.

Kev, I honestly don't think there's a lot of difference. All mine bar one are going brilliantly, some have been used for nearly 2 months and vape like a dream - and I have no idea if these are 'originals' or knock-offs, I just tend to buy the cheapest available so are more likely to be knock off tbh. Must admit I'm not keen on the ones that come with the pointy bit on top of the atty head (rather than the flat one) as the only one of mine I have problems with is one of those. But then again I have another one the same and it's still going strong several weeks in. Mass produced stuff is always going to throw up some lemons!

PS. the one in dizzis picture is THE one to get if possible. I have 2 versions of the mini. That one was from Libert Flights, link as above. I got 4 when they had their huge discount a few days ago [/smug]

do i use resistance or non resistance wire for re coiling and which wick is best I use 32 kanthal A1 and 3 strands of 1mm wick, cos that's what I have. There is a debate about 3mm wick giving better flavour than several strands of 1mm but I can't comment on that cos I've not tried it.

Dizzi, didnt realise it was just for dripping? I assumed you used it just like a CE4 and had the option of the drip tip? Glad i checked now. Oh no, not just for dripping - not for dripping at all! Sorry Talisman, I call all mouthpieces "drip tips", force of habit I suppose. No, the Vivi Nova is a tank system. It comes in 4 pieces - the bottom metal section that includes the replaceable atomiser head with coil and wicks, a tube that screws into it, a top metal piece that screws into the top of the tank and the mouthpiece (drip tip). Give me a mo and I'll take one to bits for a photo.
