Question arising from that (thanks for the quick reply VapingBad btw). I don't have any Li-Ion devices, 18490/18500/18650 in all my mods. However if you do have a flatpack that uses Li-Ions are there issues potentially charging them from usb? The itaste I used to have was usb charged. Long gone now, but there will be plenty out there. |

This is about a couple of battery chargers I bought; not ecig ones as it happens, but blimey if this is the standard manufacturers adhere to, what chance does Joseph (and Jane) Public stand? Background - I bought a cordless mouse for my PC, and decided to get some rechargeable AAAs and a charger for it. Did a bit of websearch and found two... both are wall warts (plug into the mains socket). 1. The Good A charger that glows red on charge, green on full charge, and cuts itself out on full charge. Cost : £10.28. Maker : Duracell. 2. The Ugly, and Bad A charger that glows on charge. Quote "The two LEDs are not switched off when the batteries are fully charged". Your 'protection' is a list of recommended charging times in the pamphlet. Cost : £ 7.99. Seller : Maplin. In their Q&A they state "the lights only indicate charging and there is no cut off." Nobody buy the latter (I bought both; the latter first, then the former after realising how dire the Maplin offering is). Re vaping, hope to hell this "shit will do" manufacturing/selling strategy isn't prevalent. I've been using an Xtar WP2 for a couple of years and, crossed fingers, it's been fine to date. Anyone with more knowledge ( VapingBad ?) your experience is welcome. |

Elbow Grease, mmm that might work for a strong juice, maybe smelling a bit sweaty (cheese?) whilst tasting hot so you break out in a sweat. Let's brainstorm a few, might even get a brand going. The first AAEC Ejuice Brand offerings!
"Garlic Breath" - the powerful tangy taste of garlic, highly pungent, especially combined with Tramps Socks (below) makes for a juice that tastes great, but leaves you with no social circle. Recommended for use when vaping where someone may get uppity about it.
"12 Hour Shift" - finish that day at work with a vape that is more smelly than your pits. Very high in PG, so your thirst is raised in readiness for a beer or two.
"Tramps Socks" - feel like those whiny ANTZ are getting on your nerves? Fill an atty with this, combined with unkempt hair you'll have a moaner-free exclusion zone all to yourself. Disclaimer : may attract flies.

vereybowring on vttv knocked up a mod with some home-made buttons. Thin copper sheeting cut into small squares, sandwiching double sided sticky tape with a circular hole cut out of the middle. About as Heath Robinson as it gets, but it worked. Looked a bit of a bugger to solder connections to though.

TC is the mutts nutts! Once you never have a dry hit you never go back. Also knowing that the crap the ANTZ bleat about aldehydes being released from high temperature vaping will not ever be an issue for you. Now all we got to do is to educimate folks on safe vaping (just say no to twits on youtube burping out clouds using 10 stacked 18650 batteries, yes I've seen them). You can pump out clouds very well using a TC mod, just go high VG and practice your lung inhales |

There's another, properly medical reason for not using nickel in an unregulated mod. Nickel burns to produce carbon monoxide, among other things. A lung full of CO is not summat you want to be toking.

Repeat with rayon glen. I smiled at the 'pancake wick' thing that's been doing the rounds recently, a way of getting VG juices to flow quickly into coils. Rayon works like a pipe with juice, where cotton is like a funnel. You don't need fancy dan wicks with rayon, just stuff that baby in the wick and vape away |

Oh and if you want to try this at home... Make sure you smear any excess adhesive (that which isn't in a gap) off, and leave the back off while it sets. Otherwise you'll have a perfectly hermetically sealed mod, with no way of getting into it |

Probably not @tedster, nickel is very low resistance so if you threw an unregulated battery at it the coil would burn out pretty fast. DNA40s get round that by massively reducing the wattage when they heat up. The vape of a nickel build on a mech would probably be '**** that's hot! ... oh shit it's stopped' |
