Clearly I need to practice my wrist action. Off to some *cough* art model sites for a bit.

Try him with some unflavoured eliquid dinamic22. Mix just base and vg, and base and pg, 10 ML or so of each, get him to vape that and see if it works. If he gets stinging, it's an allergy most likely. Some folk are sensitive to PG in particular.

Sorry for the txtspk, but it's a badly formed meme. Anyway, when mixing with high-VG recipes, they always settle out into a nicely coloured layer, and stubborn gloop of pale presumably VG at the bottom. Shaking them as often as remembered (every other day or so) doesn't get rid of the layer of VG every time, for the first few weeks anyway. How does the chemistry work? Will the VG surrender to the forces of the Rest of Juice and assimilate into the newly formed Vape Nation of 30ML Bottle? Is it time to vape when the VG finally lays down arms and merges with the Nation of Otheringredients?

All time favourite, that's a good question! Has to be Red Astaire for me, though I went off it's taste a wee while back. Too much of a good thing. The trick as you've clearly discovered is to mix and match. Toot a flavour till it gets a bit meh, then switch to something completely different as John Cleese would say. Variety is the spice of life and vaping is full of variety

10 flavours?!?!?! Good grief you lot are talented. I struggle with 3. Usually end up bolting back like a scared horse to the trusty mass production mix, base + ethyl + vg. Though I do have a stack of bottles c/o ejuicemeup in the warming cupboard at the moment, so hope springs eternal. What do you make with 10 flavours anyway? Custard Lemon Banana Citrus Blackcurrant Lime Apple Mint Menthol RY4 flavour or similar weird combos?

archiecat I bought a bottle of voddy after being educated that it was great for thinning down strong juices. The night went like this. Measure out the eliquid, take a drink. Syringe some vodka, take drink. Mix the eliquid with the vodka, oops thats my glass, take a drink. Measure the eliquid out into the vodka, swear. Drink to cool off. Elquid the measure into the syringe with vodka, stare at it a bit, take a drink. Throw the syringe at the cat and drinka take.

Hehe archiecat. I've been working with a lady from Merica, and think some of the colonial has rubbed off onto me. (Not in that way, grab the mind bleach) "Tastes of ass!" indeed. My worst experience wasn't in mixology but wicking, but I bet the same applies. Had a lovely hot Indian curry full of onion, then went on to rewick a coil with rayon. Unfortunately it didn't taste of curry (that would have been ossum), but of onion. The CLOUDZ stank of onion. I wash thoroughly before wicking or making juice now

Also, if you want to break your mixology duck with minimal fuss, try this. For 10 ML of unflavoured juice (yes unflavoured). Assuming you don't have a measured syringe, put 25 drips of 72% eliquid base in. If your base eliquid is different, adjust accordingly, for instance 36% base is half as strong so drip 50 drips. Top up with VG. Give it a good old shake. That's your unflavoured liquid, ready to use, right there. If you have a flavour, for 20% taste, before adding the VG pop in 40 drops of flavouring. For 10%, add 20 drops. And so on. Always leave the VG (or PG if you prefer) till last. If you want to try say, 50/50 PG/VG, put 70 drips of PG in, then top off with VG. When you get comfy with 10ML, try 30ML, multiplying everything by 3. After a while you can look at ejuicemeup and start experimenting like the rest of us You can probably see already it's a little faster with a syringe, but to start with, try this one out. Dave Dorn over at VTTV only ever toots these mixes, using 20% Ethyl Maltol, and similarly I make the stuff in 100 ML at a time bottles and it's a great one to have volumes of. Edit : this will make a 9% strength juice, if you want to make it more poky like 18%, guess what? Adjust the base accordingly. 100 drips of 36% base instead of 50. And so on.

Mix 10 ML at a time to start with, do 4 or 5 bottles of various sorts and let em steep (if not Red Astaire or similar immediately good to go recipes). Those that don't work, well it's only 10 ML of stuff, and you can refine your recipe accordingly. I keep track of my flavourite stuff on ejuicemeup, tweaking them now and again to see how a little more or less of this and that perform. Tweak and twiddle

My last mixology batch included some rhubarb and custard, a mix that works a treat. Stocks of ready to vape being low, after 3 weeks steeping this one looked ready go to, so into the subtank it went. Argh! Tasted of ass. Well, burny taste, if burned ass is something you can imagine. Off to the warming cupboard you go, 30ML bottle. I'm hoping with age it improves and gets less ass, like a harsh young wine that turns into a classic. Have you made a mix that tasted awful on first toot but improved immensely with age?

I've replaced the battery box with one higher quality that I had around, it's currently sitting in place G-clamped in while the araldite cures. Initial tests were encouraging though, two separate batteries showed up full charge.

Decided one of the dna40 chipsets is wonky, been doing some reading and there are reports of dna30s and 40s mis-reporting the battery. I've been watching this one for an hour and it has gone from 'weak battery' to showing half full... unused. Then take a couple of toots, and weak battery again. Pop the battery into the other dna40... almost full. I've been into it and replaced one of the wires to the atty, and touched up the soldering on all the other connections which are fine. It works perfectly otherwise. Say la vee. Edit : like your own posts? Whaa? (accident of course) Re-edit : it's now showing full battery. The thing is messing with my mind!
