Just wrapped a new coil on my AGA-T with 30 gauge/0.26mm Kanthal: Wow!
Was a bit fiddly gettings more wraps on to make up a sensible resistance but I found it easy to get it hotspot free and am now getting the best vape I've had so far - tons of vapour and I dare say the flavour is also better.
Am very impressed!

Anyone have a Hellfire Mega they'd be willing to part with?
Yes, I realise these are hard to come by but I have come to terms with the fact that I want one so thought it worth a punt before braving the waiting list! (assuming there still is one)

Easy one ,, chassis is bent Now that you mention it, the foot pegs do feel a tad askew. Thanks for pointing that out - will take a hammer to it next weekend and get it straightened out.

Thanks a million NickIcon I'm trying to stop spending and you post this Greek thingy, I'm a twitch away from ordering and hovering on the edge of divorce for financial cruelty, dilemmas dilemmas, the stinkies were so simple! Would it be better if I didn't disclose the discount code then?

Nice, I tried to convince the OH that she needed one of these, sadly she said no, (yes I want one) Whereas I simply didn't tell her until it was ordered. And yes, it's a Sirius from Vape Art. I feel I should mention that there is an issue with the 510 connector on the head - it's not straight. I emailed back to explain the problem and ask if there was a way I could straighten it myself. I got an email back from George (who makes them) saying thet he would send me a new head and asking me to post back the original one once I'd received it.

Safercigs do a short stop which is a reusable fuse 3mm thick. Lavatube reckons the 18350s charge to 4/4.1v - given the method used to close the circuit (stuffing an AGA-S down the open tube and tilting) I guess that means it's pretty much fully charged. *Heads off to safercigs.co.uk*

Got my first mechanical mod yesterday - really loving it so just had to share a few pics... Feels really nice in hand compared to my LT and the switch has a lovely light & soft action. Can't wait for my next delivery of batteries to arrive so I can use it for longer periods - turns out an 18350 battery + a kick doesn't last very long... I feel shinyitus coming on.

Good point Karma - will see if I can jerry-rig something with my Lavatube tonight to see if I can get the charge of the battery.
As feared - sounds like I need to track down some 18490s and save the little 'uns for brief stealth operations.
Even though the AW IMRs are "safe(r) chemistry" they aren't protected so they shouldn't be used on their own - right? Is there anything else around that can sit between the battery and mod to provide some degree of protection? Just so the 18350s don't go to waste!

Just received a new shiny toy (Sirius mod - may do some pics tomorrow!) so have been trying out 18350's for the first time.
Although I'm using a Kick - which I'm aware does use up more power than without - my AW IMR 18350 batteries have only lasted a couple of hours each without really caning it.
Consequently, both of my two 18350's have been through my charger this evening and have finished charging in under 40 minutes each. Does this seem about right?
I'm using an Xtar WP2 charger (with a couple of spacers) and it's set to charge at 0.5A. I've got the Kick set to 7.5w (I think - it's in the middle!) and my coil measures 2.6 ohms on my Lavatube.
Am I charging my batteries correctly or were my expectations for a 700mAh battery + a Kick just a bit too high?
Edited due to fat fingers.
