Thanks guys - that's what I thought I tried to begin with but once I finish this particularly nice tank of El Toro VP then I'll give it another go. Wondering whether it's down to the mod's centre pin not having enough depth - I can feel a tortured process of convincing myself to buy a Provari coming on so may run with this for a bit Gordy - IIRC I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time when you wanted to borrow a pair of scissors at the rebuildable workshop - see what you started?

Having ogled Gordy's Ody at Vapefest Ireland, I've caved in to my mod envy and got myself a Penelope. Got the hang of the whole coil malarkey quickly (with a nod to Blakey) and happily building my own coils to my resistance of choice.
The only issue that I'm struggling with and that's how far to screw the rebuildable part into the base. If I screw it flush then it gurgles and I get liquid leaking into the centre post (liquid control only open one half turn): if I screw it down further so it sticks out 2 mm then my Gripper vv starts to short out, I pull the post but after a while it starts to get temperamental again.
So, finally, the question is how do you screw yours?
