Well this thread is confusing me more and more lol. Charging circuits?! what? lol So most of 4 bay chargers charge slower when have 4 batteries in compared to when they have two. I'm using 3 batteries at the moment, all 18650, in my mod. I tend to swap early as voltage drops, assuming after initial drop, so no where near flat. I use sub ohm coils so use all three batteries in a day and am constantly chargeing it seems at work and home lol. There's 2 of us going through batteries at a pretty decent rate which is why i've just bought more chargers to keep up, i switch my batteries out at around 3.5v/3.6v

The easiest way i found for dual microcoils was to wind them on a single piece of kanthal then use a 'U' shaped steel rod to hold them in position to secure them to the posts. Getting the right amount of cotton in the channels is a fine line between flood zone & awesome vape.
I found a dual coil silica build easier to get along with, 6mm at the coil, 3mm cut short, 3mm left long & stuffed into the juice channels but not in the same league as microcoil & cotton for the Aqua. No real need to open the juice flow control, it doesn't need any extra help wicking.

I guess i was lucky & found a flavour i loved almost from the start & i've stuck with it over the years, doesn't stop me looking for new flavours though, just in case.
Imagine only liking one flavour only to discover that the recipe has changed or it suddenly becomes discontinued!!! What a disaster that would be...... forever the optimist.

SS tips are nice but a bit chilly on the lips when you're outdoors in winter

Would i recommend the SP2 to everyone? No, but it suits my charging needs & most importantly it looks after my batteries better than some & as good as the best. I've just bought another 2 for £15 each delivered, a bargain for me 'cos i was going to buy a backup anyway. I was very tempted to do the same, it's definitely a bargain, but I think I wait for a while and have spent enough on bits to build a DNA30 recently. BTW c9v: Pair of AW 15mm Charging Spacers £2.95 + p&p should allow you to put 18350s in the SP2, or you could use spacer magnets. Thanks vapingbad, i do use spacers for 18350 charging, was just pointing out the fact that Xtar missed a trick in not providing their own spacers or any way of securing them.

Pila was considered the best when i started vaping too but i was too much of a tight wad to buy one. The Xtar SP2 was available for less money but gave similar performance & got good reviews so that's what i bought, it's not without it's shortcomings though....
Only 2 bays, not enough for most people these days.
Lowest setting is 0.5, 0.25 would be better.
Spacers needed for 18350, none provided & no way of securing Xtar's own brand spacers. In fact, 18350 isn't even on the list of batteries that the SP2 was designed for.

I recommend people check out the link in vapingbad's post above & make up their own mind.

Very nice digiw0rx, i guess Spheroids have become even more popular than they already were since these were released. Would like to see a 22mm/23mm version of this, be nice to have an alternative to carrying a lightsaber around.

Sounds like you're going to be very busy Super-Shiny.
Just out of interest, what's the diameter of the AFC you're using?

50/50 should produce good vapour regardless of taste or TH.
As above...... if your atty's gurgling dry it out.
One of the flavours i mix is a shake 'n' vape with no steeping required & produces good vapour straight away so don't see why yours shouldn't.

Hi all, At the moment I have a cheap and nasty charger that I trust as far as I can through it lol. Want a new charger but with quite a few features.. not sure if exists though? 1. Ability to charge all 18### series batteries, either 2 or preferably 4. 2. Ability to charge AA/AAA batteries. 3. Independent charging. 4. Options for charge speed e.g 0.5amps, 1 amp etc, independently.. preferably automatic and manual switching. 5. A display that says how much volts are in each battery..useful to tell if battery is ok, and how long I've got too wait. 6. Good quality overcharge protection for safer charging and to lengthen battery life. 7. Ability to charge other devices via USB using the batteries in charger when not connected to mains... Though this is less import. Think that's all. I'm not gona say price is no problem but obviously not gona be cheap with all them features. You'll do well to get what you want all in one package, no recommendations i'm afraid but a few things to maybe look out for. Make sure you choose something with CC/CV. 0.25 is better for small batteries. Some voltage displays only read up to 4.2v so won't indicate overcharging even if that were the case. Early model Efest Luc V4 & BIO V2 have a reputation for overcharging which is why revised models were released, make sure you get the latest one if this is your choice. Some USB-out are only powered by battery & not mains, don't leave batteries in the bay/bays that power the USB-out as they will discharge, i'm not sure to what level over a period of time. Some 4 bay chargers share current between bays in pairs, i think the I4 is 1+3 & 2+4, always charge small batteries in pairs as a single battery may be over it's recommended max charge current. Apologies if you already knew all of the above & i'm no 'techno guru' so hope there's no mis-information here but not all chargers are created equal so it pays to do as much research as you can. If i were you i'd get the best charger to suit your vaping gear then get some Sanyo eneloops with a charger thrown in like djs suggested, they're the best rechargeable AA on the market. Good luck with your search.

It worked in Firefox but now they say out of stock. I had an email off VapourArt notifying me that they received the order but I should not have been able to order lol. However, they will honor the order if I tel them I how managed to bypass their system. Wonder if you're the only one? At least with pre-order everyone gets what they want anyway but may have to wait a while. I placed a pre-order for an atty 7th December & status is still awaiting product, hope the GP stuff won't be such a lengthy wait.

I managed to preorder a Heron from the last link I posted in my OP Well done!!! I have no idea what rss is & your link just opens up a code page for me, i assume i would need some sort of newsreader or different browser for this. Ah well, will just have to wait till next week. I've had the money burning a hole in my pocket for a long time but i've been good & resisted almost everything else. Hoping to get a Heron / Paps X converter & a Paps V3.
