I've just finished reading all 49 pages of this thread, which means I'll probably fall asleep at my desk tomorrow at work! I'll take your advice Perp and stick with some premixes for now - got some fruity ones on order that should arrive tomorrow, and I'm going to raid Froggy's shop for some of his concoctions. I've started my shopping list though, so as soon as payday arrives at the end of the month I'll get set up ready for some mixing. Brilliant thread. In fact, brilliant forum. Nice work peeps  |

Thanks for the hellos and for all the advice. What a lovely bunch you are! Roger, yeah you're right, there's no mesh in the atty (see, picking up the jargon already), just a spike. I've got a few tanks though so Giles' tip should work if I want to try something before making a larger batch - and thanks for the link to the mixing kits. Thanks to the mods for pointing out the eGo 510 - that'll save me even more cash. Yay!  Lots to look at. I'll start writing out my shopping list.  |

Hi Chrissie I had a scout around the internet to try and decide which one to get, but in the end I went to my local shop (Huddersfield e-Cigs) as I wanted to get my hands on something before I bought it. I went for the Totally Wicked Tornado Tank, which feels like it's really well made. I also liked the fact that it doesn't look like a cigarette. It came with 10ml of fluid, and I went for the menthol flavour as that was the kind of dirty filthy cig I smoked! I've since ordered a couple of different flavours from the smokshop.com - without advice I just took a punt and went for something that had decent reviews on the website, and they offered free postage for orders over £5. Where can I get the 'counter' you have in the signature under your post? I like the idea of tracking how many cigs I've avoided!  |

Hello!  Brand new here. Dropping by to give a quick introduction and to ask a couple of questions. I'd been thinking of switching to e-cigs for a while and finally took the plunge on Saturday. Why did I wait so long?! Just over 48 hours in and it's great. I'm particularly enjoying the novelty of not having to go outside to smoke, and after a mammoth day yesterday with 2 rehearsals and a gig my throat feels better already. (I'm a singer, but I guess my username gave that away already) I'm using nicotine at the moment, so no withdrawal symptoms from the demon fags, but I want to slowly wean myself off, or at least cut down. I've been reading the recipes on here and would love to try mixing my own flavours and strengths. Can one of you lovely people give me a list of the basic things I'll need to do this? Can you also point me in the direction of a good on-line retailer for the things I'll need? Thank you, fellow vapers |
