Hi everyone. Need a bit of advice before I finalise my shopping list and spend some hard earned cash. I've decided to buy a whole new starter kit. The one I bought only has one of everything, and the kit is actually cheaper and comes with double the amount of 'stuff'. Really wish I'd found this forum before I bought mine! I got a 'Totally Wicked' rebranded Ego t-tank, so I'm going to get one of these: esmokeuk.co.uk/shop/article_2/Ego-C-Starter-Kit-Black.html?sessid=Pq4o8j8cQIobhKVkUJBfliascmev2ew1RpGuMxDf2LuwUFu2ByrHIoSlubNQ4ZLx&shop_param=cid%3D3%26aid%3D2%26I also want to buy myself a mixing kit, so thinking I need to get what I've listed below. What do you all think? Have I missed anything vital? VG base (from Classikool's eBay shop) PG base (from Minerals-water ltd eBay shop) 50mg Nic in VG base (from Nicvape.com) Syringes: 1ml and 5ml, 14 guage Bottles with needle tops: 10ml and 30ml Cupcake World flavours - still deciding which ones! I'd be grateful for recommendations of where to buy the bottles and syringes from. My plan, once I've got the hang of mixing, is to slowly reduce the amount of nicotine in my mixes. I also want to experiment with the mix of PG/VG so I get less throat hit, which is why I want the Nic in VG base. How does that sound? Thanks!

Feels great doesn't it?! I switched from menthol/tobacco ejuice as soon as possible. I'm loving the fruit and sweet flavours I got. Pay day tomorrow and can't wait to try some more! There's a whole new world out there, and it doesn't stink!

I had ducks when I was a kid, 4 Aylesburys. Great big daft things they were. Their favourite thing in the whole world was being sprayed with the hosepipe. Lovely to see everyone's furry/feathery/scaley friends.

Hi Lisa I ran out of charge on mine today for the first time, usually keep it well charged. It kind of slowed down first, there wasn't much vapour being produced, then it stopped completely. Now it's happened once, I know what to look out for in future. And thankfully I'd just got home from work when it happened so not a major drama. Need to get a spare battery though! Have a look at some of the vendors on the list you can see from the home page and look for ones that do pick and mix liquids. Most of them will do this, and it means you get to try out different flavours without having to buy loads of something you may end up not liking. And as was recommended to me by the lovely folk on here, steeping really helps - with some flavours the longer you leave them the better they get. I deliberately haven't gone for any tobacco flavours as I wanted to get as far away as possible from the stinkies! I'm currently vaping one that tastes like a certain choccy bar that rhymes with knickers, and I've got a couple of low nic fruit flavours that I take to work with me - that's where pre-filling your own cartridges really comes into its own, and it's so easy to change flavours. Another tip I picked up on here is to 'dry run' the atty by pressing the button for a second or two with no cartridge in it between flavour changes, then you don't get them mixing. I'm loving vaping and really wish I'd made the switch sooner. StS

Found exactly what I wanted for carrying just the e-cig! www.vapeescape.co.uk/510-case~83 It's a bargain too, and a little more sophisticated than a tampon holder eh Brambles?! Not had chance to get into town yet, but still planning a visit to the pound shops for the larger case.

Hi Sarah, They are a bit fiddly and easy to drop / lose the tiny bits, but a bit of concentration and it can be done quite easy, practice makes perfect… For the future, if you stick with the Tornado Tank system, the carts are only pence to buy, worth getting a few so you can have one per flavour. What's your next flavour to try? Hey Mr Frog Still resisting and letting your flavours steep (apart from the coconut ice, but reckon that'll be even better in a few days), so I've got a blackcurrant one on the go at the moment from b4 I found your list of yummies. Next one of yours will be choccynutty fantastic. Or maybe coconut caramel & hazelnut honey. Or maybe...! That's why I need to clean the cartridges! Roger, there's a soft cap with them so you can carry them pre-filled but the end the atty spike goes into is hard plastic, the same material the rest of the cartridge is made from. I've tried to get these off but no luck so far. Don't want to break them!

Surely we don't have to stoop so low as to pick on their writing skills? It bothers me... It does bother me. If their mastery of English is so poor, what is their maths like - not sure I'd trust them to make me a coffee, never mind mix me a liquid. Just a thought

I've taken the vaping end off, as Jess suggested, but how about the filling end? Can't really get water in there to rinse it. Guess this'll be easier once I've got syringes!

Hi
Trying to clean the cartridges that came with my tornado tank. The stupid leaflet that came with it which they call a user manual isn't much help! In the leaflet it looks like these come apart, but to me it seems they're in one piece.
How do I give them a decent clean inside & out so I can change flavours without any tainting?
Thanks!

I've just read the thread on UKV. Seems their members have come to the same conclusion that we have - G4S have dug themselves into a massive hole and they've refused a ladder, and continue to dig deeper instead!
I'd be surprised if they have any customers left. Shame really.
