I thought you needed 510 sockets/recievers/ threaded connections. I was suggesting using the recycled center post from VIvi novas/ stardusts. I had not noticed the ALU bar mentioned in the first post... however, instead of tapping each hole, drill it tapered and insert the aforementioned vivi part.
I can email you a picture if you like, since me words produce not the vision in your head I so desire. Or you can ignore an old hippy... Best of luck. I

Granted you would need a few.. however, they are perfect to drop into a 7mm hole and EVERYONE has one or two vivi nova in various states around.. thinking donations would be easier asking for a specific piece. sorry if I was un-clear. I

Okay, Take old Vivi nova, remove threaded center post from base (Pliers) Drill hole in wood, push and glue VIVI post in hole. Repeat. I have one mounted in the "support"hole on my £ 5.00 lidl magnifier/solder station using the set screw to lock it in. Even have a parts tray/ drip tip tray.

FYI "Joye eGo-C upgrade Battery which has 2 modes to switch. One mode is the constant voltage output mode at 3.3v, the same as the eGo-C batteries. The other mode is variable voltage mode, which works from 3.6v to 4.15v.
How to switch from constant 3.3 volt to variable voltage 3.6 volt to 4.15 volt mode:
The battery must be in the off position to change between the two modes. (It turns on/off by pressing the button 5 clicks within 2 seconds.) Once the battery is in the off position. Hold the button in for 5 seconds the button will flashes Three times (white light indicates 3.3 constant mode, Orange light indicates variable voltage mode 3.6v to 4.15v) once you have selected the mode of your choice. Just press the button five more times on the battery to turn the battery back on."
I C&P, not my grammar/spelling

If I had one, you could save me then in 6 months, you send it back to me a month later, I'll just drop it in the post for another 6 month vacation with FB. Rinse and repeat. Only cost us postage.

I played with the RC when it was released. Meh... On a tablet/ touchscreen/ handheld.. it is intuitive, in an apple sort of way. I'm not sold on the laptop/desktop experience.

yep totally agree, I run it on 2 of our office servers, the UI is just junk and so hard to naviagte. I tend to use BE2010 R2, which fixes the exchange 2010 and Hyper V issues BE 2010. The issue I have is speed being agent based it is a lot slower than other backup solutions. Also I am looking for something that does bit level replication which BE does not do. Yet to meet anyone yet that thinks 2012 is any good. Agent based is also a nause when you have NAS servers because you can't install an agent on them hehe We used to use ARCserve but that was a long time ago and moved over the BE 2010... which we should have stayed on TBH but CBA to downgrade the licenses and all that hassle. You're so right about hard to navigate, what chimp came up with that UI and thought it was a good idea? Everything is buried deep in random screens from random screens. Hate that bloody software, we get failed backups every week for no reason at all and if our DC survives the week without crashing we are lucky. Unfortunately it's also out Exchange server and VPN server. Yeah I know bad idea having it all on one server but we are working with legacy gear and a company that needs mission critical services 24/7 so haven't had the downtime to be able to sort it. We back up to tape as well, but we've set up disc backups for when we are on holiday and the tapes can't be changed daily (I wanted an autoloader but MD won't go for the cost ) Also our MD being a bit tight and wanting to pay wages before we buy shiny servers doesn't help either Looking at upgrading exchange next year (2003 currently) possibly a move to cloud exchange (I can dream.) You almost made me cry, I'm sorry you have to work like that. After a while, the pay isn't enough for the BS you endure. I don't miss it at all. Good luck performing miracles...Daily. I

My nuts are still shiny and I'm comfortable with them being NON SS for now.
I am stalking some other stuff @ COV , so If I get my trophies, I'll put a few/five new nuts in the cart too. Gotta have back up for your backups.
