Is somebody there? Oh hello domesticextremist sorry I must of dozed off in the corner for a few hours. I have had my Kayfun Lite for 5 years now and in the beginning I was making simply round wire micro coils 28AWG (0.3mm) 5 or 6 wraps with a 2mm inside diameter and very happy with the vape at about 10w. I had loads of really thin 32awg (0.21mm) left over from the days of wrapping this onto silica wick for coils and thought what if I twisted 3 strands of this together tightly, it might make a wire I could use on the Kayfun with cotton. I made a 8 wrap over 2mm which came out to 1.2ohms and I set the wattage to 12w and the flavour that was now being produced was exceptional. This was before you could buy twisted wire or Clapton wire or anything other than single strand wire and although I have tried other builds and wire types, nothing compares to the homemade twisted 3 strands of Kanthal A1 32AWG. I am tempted to try the Vandy Vapes superfine (mtl) Clapton SS and N80 wire.. If you are doing the 3X32awg(0.21) and loving it, IMO, you would not see an improvement with the VV superfine (N80). I picked up a roll of the 30awgX2 with 38awg wrap. It vapes just like my own parallel/twisted 30awg or 32awg. Split them, half Sammy and half LG.
I did that last year with 30Qs and 25Rs, I reordered the 30Qs this year.

Am aware that RTAs lose pressure and leak juice when taken on a plane, so they need emptying before flying, but I'm thinking this does not apply to a squonker. Does anyone know if this is right? Has anyone tried it? Am taking a trip to Florence next week and was thinking of using a squonker as a carry around on the day I'm flying.  Hola, Based upon years travelling with my REO. The decrease in air pressure will cause the bottle to "Auto-squonk". Swap an empty squonk bottle in to the device and cap the original and place in zipper bag with other liquids. Safe travels I |
