I threw some mesh wicks in the Cleaner today, loads of fine black particles left in the bottom of the cleaner in seconds, slotted the wick in through the coils and could tell the difference immediately better flavour and more wicking

It took me a few weeks to get off the fags altogether, you will find that if you can go two or three days the fags will taste disgusting, i got to the point where i actually preferred e cigs, would not thank you for a fag now After over 37 years of fags and rollies.
Good luck (although you shouldn't need it)

Just mixed my own juice for the first time today - guess what flavour?
I have always been an RY4 or RY hi5 man.
Anyway i ordered some 75mg pg based liquid from NicVape and i got a bottle of Capella VC too!
I realised on delivery that i should have ordered PG base too or my mix would have to be mainly VG to get around 20mg juice.
Anyway rather than wait for PG i mixed like so
(Vg premixed with 15% water as it is very thick)
27.6% PG Base (75mg) 57.4%l VG 15% CVC
Put this mix in my Ultrasonic cleaner - through 10 x 8 minute cycles in warm water.
It has gone a dark yellow colour and!
Is Gorgeous
Soooo creamy, reckon i will never want to vape anything else - OMG RY4 is like sucking cardboard!

I waited until the tank on my Aga T was just about empty and sucked the last juice out i jammed the atty connector in the "bridge" that is supplied with the UC so that it was submerged only up to just before the Glass of the tank and set it away. Only warm water, couldn't believe the sh!t that came off it totally cleaned the wick and coil sticking in the water. I filled up with juice and away it went BRILLIANT - DON'T EVEN HAVE TO DISMANTLE Attachments:

Yes Gillas, I have watched that, but what I am thinking of is cleaning clearos and bottom coiled clearos. Rather than stick them away for later use after just washing them under running water, also giving tham a blast in the UC. Then, once dry, stashing them away. You never know I might bump in to you one day, let me know the next time your up there. (HiFi Stud lives very close too) I am not up there much as I work in Cambridge, I get home only every few months now

On another note, does the UC clean coils? Can't see why it wouldn't. Problem would be on a rebuildable if it frees the crap off the mesh it will fall in the tank and you would have to remove the coil to clean the tank out. Have you seen Todds video @ www.toddsreviews.com/2013/01/ultrasonic-cleaners.html

Have you tried using it for cleaning attys, Toddd did a video and it looks the biz.
I think it may even clean S/S mesh, if it does may be able to use mesh over & over again.
Buying one tomorrow, can't wait to try it out

Thanks for that Karl23111
Just to point out it was not my method it was copied from a post on ECF
There seems to be a lot of posts on the subject and steeping is reduced from 3 weeks to 3 days or less!

I have decided to get in to mixing , i have everything i need bar My base liquid which is on its way from the USA.
Started reading up on recipe's and techniques and came across the following post on ECF.
(Aldi have the Ultrasonic machines on sale from tomorrow, got to get one, will be great for cleaning attys alone as in Todds recent video).
Has anyone mastered the ultrasonic steeping method yet?
My method (using the Jame ultrasonic cleaner 7000) which has so far 100% steeped all the flavours I've tried is to:
Day 1 - Diy the liquid - Leave top off and leave in a cold dark cupboard for 24 hours
Day 2 - place into ultra sonic cleaner (with hot tap water) next to my computer while i work and run it constantly for 2 - 3 hours on 8 minute cycles. The cleaner keeps the water warm
Day 3 - repeat day 2. - steep complete
I mix at 15% flavouring (TPA) but using this method, I believe I can reduce this to 10%. Some flavours even less as they are too strong at 15% using this steeping process
Prior to this using 15 - 20% I tried warm bathing, leaving top off in dark cupboard, leaving to steep for a week, all of which produced that flavourless pg/vg taste.
Cheers for sharing this great technique.. next step.. to get the James 8060 with temp control / 30 minute timer and deeper capacity for larger bottles.
