Thank you all for your help, I ordered recommended items and they arrived yesterday.
Reason I've still been using some cartomisers is that I had some left around and they fit my passthrough, I need to look around for some newer clearomiser that will fit, or for an adaptor

Hi Chrissie, I look in from time to time without posting, that's how I saw the myepack kit recommended for beginners before Xmas.
I read the threads and don't know what half the stuff is that's being discussed!

Well, I understand the principle of variable voltage but not quite sure how it affects the use of an ecig.
Is it higher voltage more flavour, more nicotine, or is it more complicated than that? And does using higher voltage shorten the battery life?
I bought one of those starter kits from myepack as a Christmas present for someone, it looked very decent; I've also been using an evod cartomiser but it didn't seem to quite have the amount of flavour I got from some of the others

It's a Riva type that I got from VapeEscape, it's done ok but one of the batteries won't hold charge now.

Last lot of batteries are on their way out, I can't keep up with all the new stuff so was looking for advice on what to get to replace, please

Yep, same batteries and regular use, they haven't sat in a drawer. They've lasted longer than the charger.
I was a bit sad about the pass-thru, I haven't had that as long.

Hi Chrissy, sorry you only see me when I want something.
I just nipped to see when I joined here, I got the tornado then and the pass-thru a bit later, so I can't grumble, I've used them all the time since. I got some smokeymisers but they're a bit leaky.
I'll send off for one of those kits and get myself up to date!

My pass-through seems to have passed away and one of my tornado batteries won't charge any more.
So before I fork out for replacments, are there newer and better things I should go for please? I pop in and have a read sometimes but don't understand half of it, comes of not keeping up with developments. Any advice gratefully received.

Chrissie set up an ecig group on ebay, then moved when they banned the ecigs. Ebay have some odd notions about what's suitable to be sold!

Please can someone tell me how the heck I fill a clearomiser?
I got these to see if they would be better with the pass-through, they came with a needle but I still haven't worked it out, I remove the end and an inner black ring as per the instructions. At this point the info just says 'fill with liquid' but I can't find how to get it in there - I can get liquid down my hand, on the table, practically anywhere except in the cartridge.

It seems to vape ok but has a somewhat 'cooked' flavour, not burnt exactly, maybe the voltage is the problem then.

I recently got some smokymizers, managing them nicely.
However, I've found that using them with the Tornado is fine but if I use them with the pass-through the taste is quite different. Are they not meant for use with the latter?

Besides beiing a happy vaper I'm also a recycler and hoarder and so I have a problem - what to do with all the extremely useful-looking dropper bottles that the juice comes in. I hate to throw them out because you never know when you just might need such a thing, although what you might need it for is somewhat unclear at the moment. Has anyone got any ideas before the little boxful becomes a big boxful?
