I bought two Tank atties a while ago and dont like them. It took days for the taste of the primer to go and then left no taste what so ever. I dont like the weak draw either :0(
Thing is I really really wanted them towork as well as I can really see the advantages but it didnt.
Not sure if I am doing something wrong or the system doesnt work for me.

I use cartos from TW, the prefilled ones that I refill. I think that they might be a bit more powerful than a regular atty but not LR. *shrug* dont know though but I thinl I read that somewhere.
So its a go-er then?

Just really asking for a bit of advice. I am dead happy with my Tornado/Riva set up but I have a birthday soon and I am looking arround for something to treat myself with. I have read such great things about the GDPS and thought I might get one. The only thing Im worried about is if it makes me crazy for bigger better harder things and I no longer find my 510s satsifying. I do spend a good few hours a day by a PC but at work I am not officed based and do a lot of traveling by car. So I still need a portable option and I do like what I have now.
Is this daft? I am worried I will like it too much.
So any advice? Or other suggestions for a birthday treat?

I wonder if it has anything to do with new ex-smokers? I prob wont phrase this right but you know when someone has given up with nic replacement stuff or gone cold turkey and been sucessful they can say its not too hard and if they can do it anyone can? And then you try it and its ten times hell and back to the fags you go. You begin to think that other folks are less addicted or have stronger will power or really really wanted to give up in the first place.
Then you see an ecig in the sunday papers ot Betterwear catalogue and think here we go again this wont work either.
And then, then you try it and surprise the heck out of yourself and wonder why it took you so long totry them out. I think when you have know someone in the flesh who has gone through all this it can cut out all the dithering :0)
Yep its a ramble.

I was a newbie only a few weeks ago and found this board. My first post asked for help in buying the right ecig and I got loads of help and a lovely lovely welcome.
I too never believed that it would work and I wouldnt want a proper cigarette as I had tried everything in the past to give up. But here I am 50 (or there abouts) days into it and I can say, hand on heart, e cigs are sooo much better than the real thing.
I had a bit of a juice crisis a week in to vaping and while waiting for an order to arrive began smoking again. The very minute my supplies turned up I went straight back to my Tornado and still have half a packet upstairs somewhere. They are not there as a back up or to test my will power but there because I have zero intrest in them.
Good luck but I am sure very soon you will be converting smokers left right and centre to the wonders of e-cigs :0)

But Hissie ..hugs. Neighbour problems are horrid. Luckly the house next to us is empty atm but I dread new neighbour mainly because I think we are fairly loud and my doggies can bark when there is someone at the door. They arent barky all the time but I do worry if new folks will be unhappy with any noise.

When I was a baby my mum and dad rented a flat where there was a neighbour who played very loud music. When my dad had a word the neighbour very thoughtfully asked my dad what sort of music he liked as he had a large collection and could prob cater to requests. Doh!

Thanks  I am defo going down the mix your own path though I think esp for the non-complicated flavours. Liking the minty/menthol flavours means even if I bugger something up I can rescue it with a few drops of menthol and all is good. In fact I amhaving a little mixing fun right now as my DV flavourings came this morning. Coconut is lovely but I have gone from a little too weak to a little too strong. I hope I have cracked it now as its a lovely toasted coconut flavour. Cafe Brasliano is another winner. Its very dark and thick and I am mixing with VG as I havent got any PG at the moment. Its really moreish but is not soaking up very well in the cartos. Menthoyptus  WOW blow my head off even using a tiny amount. I have weaken it down again and still REALLY REALLY strong but brilliant too. What with these and the lovely cinamint thing I mixed yesterday I am in vaping heaven |

Hissie sent me some carts with blue filler and with them I think I have the atty problem sorted. Touches wood. And other than the stupid Tank system everything is rainbows. |

I can see a future for me of never buying pre-mixed as even 11mg is too strong and I keep having to cut it down by at least half. But then Im not getting a good enough flavour.
I am currently vaping a mix Ive concocted which is just stunning. I got a 10ml bottle, added in 2 mls of the double mint 18mg from the China order, 6 drops of PV gingerbread in med (a sample Hissie kindly sent me) 5 drops of menthol made with crystals and PG in a little bottle and topped up with VG. Its just like that Deyntene (sp?) chewing gum and is totally mooreish.
