Any advice on mixing your own juice ?

Hi , well im going to be taking my first steps in mixing my own juice , at the moment ive got one bottle of VG , but have just ordered 30ml's 24mg PG and one "Irish cream" flavourant , so im not looking for recipes , well not yet anyway

So any advice ?
How did you get on with mixing ?
Do you still mix and vape your own ?
How good can it be ?

Loved mixing from the word go,i always mix my own. This may help you out as to which strenght you want to vape at.

Advice from me would be mix a small batch first as you might not like the flavour.If you mix it in plain PG first it saves your nic liquid. Once you've done it a couple of times you'll know whether you want a bit more pg/vg,a bit more flavouring etc.

Never used flavourart.....but go easy on the flavouring at first :-)

I love mixing Mrl . . . never thought I would, but you can tailor juices to suit your own preferences, which I like very much.

There's absolutely no science with the way I mix, so no two lots are ever completely the same . . . but as Ckc wisely says, go easy with the flavouring and just do small quantities to start with.

I kinda mix too. I only really like lowish nic and I find 11mg is far too high for me so I always add at least 30% VG to everything I buy premixed. But then I was not getting the flavour so I also added in some menthol drops and pepermint flavouring (Flavour Arts or supermarket stuff). As you can tell I am mostly a minty vaper but would love to branch out into new directions.
My birthday is in a few days time so I am thinking of treating myself to some PG and flavourings and have been looking at both Flavourarts and Decident Vapours at TW. Anybody think one is better than the other or have any recomendations?

From what ive read "Decadent Vapours" never seem to have a bad word said about them ? and Farts seem highly thought off !
Its a shame Enjuice stopped there flavour pods , because its seems to be the only juice that i like ?

Same here,i grab my 20ml bottle,syringe in 8ml of 50mg juice,pour my pg in till it's just over 3/4 full top it off with vg,job done.

Then i use a 3ml or 5ml bottle as thats what i carry round with me,put my non-flavoured mix in, add whatever flavour i want and it lasts me a couple of days.

That's pretty much what I do Ckc . . . other than my pg/vg is a little more vg heavy as I do like lots of vapour over throat hit.

They're the two I've used so far Mrl - DV & F'arts . . . never got round to trying the Pods, but thought they were a great idea, to give people a bit of initial confidence to try their own mixing.

I guess they weren't cost effective.

I've just discovered another tip......before you run out of PG make sure you can open the next bottle !! I've just discovered that i can't open any of my 7 bottles Grrrrrrr.

Anyone got that PG ebay link to hand?

I had a look at theFlavourArts web site and think I will be ordering from there once I find a flavour I like. It seems cheaper and its 20ml or 100mls which makes better sense to me considering the quanity of juice Im going through at the moment.

I can see a future for me of never buying pre-mixed as even 11mg is too strong and I keep having to cut it down by at least half. But then Im not getting a good enough flavour.

I am currently vaping a mix Ive concocted which is just stunning. I got a 10ml bottle, added in 2 mls of the double mint 18mg from the China order, 6 drops of PV gingerbread in med (a sample Hissie kindly sent me) 5 drops of menthol made with crystals and PG in a little bottle and topped up with VG. Its just like that Deyntene (sp?) chewing gum and is totally mooreish.

from F'art's . . . really must use some of the stuff I've got first.

Hi , alot of vendors sell nonic versions of there juices , so you could buy "Blah juice"10ml @ 11mg & "Blah juice" nonic 10ml and end up with 20ml of "Blah juice" 5.5mg with no flavour loss

This also works well to save money , as most vendors charge the same whatever the mg & nonic is always quite cheap in comparision
