I took delivery of a multimeter from e-bay after reading supershineys stickys, but the readings are bouncing about all over the place.I put it on 200 on the omh setting and put the leads together and the reading is anything from 127 to 2.0,any advice please.I also tested a 1.8 coil that read 4.7.

majority like car alarms ignore them going off as faulty, easiest would be to mount some CCTV cams [infra red ]and display notices saying CCTV surveilannce, even if you have not got them hooked up,wire showing going into wall will do and high up, Being on the ground floor there is not enough height between ours and the flat above to keep it out of tamper range, that is another dilemma with a bell box we have.

You can get the codes from places like youtube, not through visiting websites that ask you to download stuff.

When using pc cleaners such as C Cleaner,Glary utilities etc the free versions, you can often find on the web free codes which will give you the full paid for version. What is the danger of using these if they work.I tried a couple on an old laptop i have and the codes worked.

We received a letter from the police alerting us to numerous burglaries on our estate, living in a ground floor flat we are easy pickings so i was looking at alarms. How much mess and disruption will a wired one cause and do the wireless ones work as well,i also saw this one below but as we can hear everything the flat above does it may go off constantly, what do you think? www.soniseurope.com/
