Did you replace the small battery after you removed it? It's the CMOS battery and is responsible for keeping your date/time settings running when the PC is not powered. It shouldn't matter if you didn't unless you have time sensitive software on the PC. If the battery can't maintain the clock, then every time you boot up, it will set the time/date to the factory default. AVG has been the cause of PC's going into a boot loop for a while now. It normally happens on rebuilds and not updates. It's easy to remedy once you can access the system. You simply remove AVG and the problem generally goes away. Sean |

Out of interest was there any interest on the E-Lites stand? In one word Perpy... Masses! There was always a crowd around the stand. I hope it was to do with interest in ecigs and nothing to do with the fact that they generally had the best looking sales girls in that part of the hall, working the ecig stand! I know E-Lites may not be the best option for newbies but if it gets people started, then who cares?! Sean |

Guess what I did today? Back at the Gadget Show again, so we took a wander back round to the E-Lites ecig stall and got talking to the guys and girls there. They were very interested in the GGTS and today, we also had one of my 109 mods with us. They were very interested in this too, especially as it was 'home made', so we explained a little about it and the different battery set-ups etc. We told them it's advantages over the tiny ecigs they sell. We gave little test try's too! So, what did I do that I really need to tell you all about? I sold one of my 109's to one of their staff! It made me laugh a lot!  Sean |

These are still available... someone must be interested? Another flavour added now: 5ml Pina Colada (medium) 5ml Whiskey (high) 5ml Whiskey Tobacco (low) All have a few drops used. She's looking for Rootbeer, Cherry Tobacco, Bubblegum, Caramel (low/medium strength preferred) or post what you have and I'll ask her! I'm the disappointed newbie that has been mentioned here by Chrissie and others. Not going to bang on about shoddy business practices and respect for customers as from what I've seen here, the post would be likely to get deleted or at least drowned by the biased fan-posters. Suffice to say, so far, TW has not impressed me.
However, I'd like to address a couple of points and defend a very helpful lady who has given me good advice and guidance on my first steps into the world of vaping.

13 minute ban here! Only made one post... it was when they ended their Christmas Yo-Yo sale early and without warning. They'd published the finish date but ended the sale a day earlier, leaving me and many, many others with a full shopping cart (significant money about to be spent) and a massive disappointment. I registered and posted. Asking for clarification/explanation and saying exactly what I thought of a business model that rode rough-shod over it's most important commodity - it's customers. I never got a reply, PM, warning or squat... just a straight ban! Now, out of principal, I will never purchase anything from them. Even if they offered the best product in the world at 1p each, buy one, get a dozen free, I'll still go elsewhere! Being valued as a customer is part of the deal for me - it isn't just about the price! As has already been said Mark - their loss, not yours. Sean |

Sorry I haven't been back here but been snowed under clearing my house of junk for the last week! Anyway, I wouldn't bother with fuses. There is protection in the batteries and circuitry and I think fuses would be an un-necessary overkill. I've stopped putting polyswitches in my box mods as they have a habit of triggering when they're not supposed to. Sean |

Cna someone please do more explaining on the GGTB. What would you like to know? I have a GGTS here. The GG range of mods are, imho, amongst the very best out there. They are beautiful pieces of simple engineering. Yes, some may think they're a little heavy and bulky but they are well made and easy to get on with. The GGTB can use a wide range of cheap batteries and is entirely mechanical so there are no electrical parts to fail or go wrong. It can be dismantled to it's component parts, with each part being serviceable. replaceable or cleanable by the user. In the unlikely event that something did go wrong that you couldn't sort yourself, you just return it to Imeo (in Greece) and for a very reasonable fee, he will sort it for you. This is because it comes with... wait for it... a LIFETIME warranty! To my knowledge, no other vaping device has anything longer than a year's cover. If you like the looks, can appreciate the engineering and want something that's pretty much bomb proof - go for a GG. They also have very good resale values! HTH... Sean |
