its all to do with tolerances
if the mod is on the small side of the 510 thread and the atty is on the large size of the same size thread
you will struggle to screw them together
DiD genesis atties used to be like that !! a bit of a pain i know try it on some thing different ??

Make more that you need ,then make more before you run out then you won't have to speed steep and keep on top of your made juice supplie so you have stock of steeped juice :0)

The one thing you have to take into consideration is that stainless is not a resistance wire as such ,like kanthal ,but it does have resistance in it just not as much as resistance wire , so you have to use more and have more wraps to your coil

phtumshki use NR-R-NR in all my builds as it stops the exposed legs gettin over heated i have various thicknesses of ss wire some 316L some 304 i could send a couple of mts os each of what i have for you to play around with before you go off buying spools of the stuff (as we have all done that and have it sitting in a draw never to be used)

i have always used stainless in a mech for a couple of years now with no probs what so ever
if you want some wire to try before you buy gis a pm as i have some i dont use any more
as i get all my wires from FT now as ready wires ,Ni200-316L-Ni200 and they are really very good

HaroldTheBarreli have 2 of these 1 semi polished with all 3 tubes and all the top caps (3 of) to fit differnt size atties 12mm(or may be 14mm)another 1 i cant remember size and a 22mm one and hybrid thingy 1x matt fininsh (bead blasted or something like that) all tubes 3of and hybrid thingy £25 for either of them pm me if interested

i finally finished fitting a DNA 40 board in to this mod!!!!! 1st board went wonky after a took the firing switch off it so had to send it back to Evolve for replacement ,but its all done now   It took quite a bit of faffin but its tiny!!  comparison to a VT40 got a working Evolve charge board too   |

i am in the process if fitting the new board and charger board
i personally think its not a viable option to offer this as a fix to people due to the cost and time involved
i have had to strip all the components (except the switches) of the original board and piggy back the dna board on the original one so i can use that boards switches and screen + holder
the first attempt worked ,but i used evolves recommended wire gauge through out but they are to thick to get everything back together properly
so i am going to have another go but drop the wire gauge down a size ,but will still be above the minimum evolve recommend
i checked the dimensions of the dna 75 but the usb is in the wrong place.
i have had to send for some 24 gauge wire (for the switches)
so will update when it comes and i have given it another go
