Hi al i would just like to state that this is just my take on the thred starters initial question

i personally pre mix my nic base to 15mg as i don't like handling the strong stuff as often as needed when juice mixing. That is then left to sit for a few days.
when trying new flavour s i always mix i 10ml at 15 percent in a 20ml bottle which gives plenty of room to shake this Will then be left for 2 weeks then tasted if it needs altering i draw out what's left in the bottle in a syringe and work out the needed chang es mix them leave to steep again
it is a long winded process but i find you get the intended flavour.
Also i find writing a log of what you have done and when to be very helpful and aids when you want to mix up again.
It is a long journey this mixing lark at it is well worth it when you have enough juice in hand to be able to vape month steeped juice as its just like the shop purchased juice

I have not had the chance to use mine as all my dids don't fit and my choddys are set up for my roller!
I Will get a choddy set up for for it tomorrow and give it a whirl. Foot know what to do about of dids not fitting i might have to get a tap to see if the z max thread is on the the tight side!
