Thank you Toondog. The chrome end cap fits the 18350 mode on the SS.The ss end cap won't screw on the chrome one. Ask Jeeves is being replace by ask toondog Thats very kind of you Sadie, but I am going to get some stuff from VE so will probably buy a end cap there, thanks again though. Thanks to all that posted, going the chippy now but not for a chinese, had enough of them for one night  It's a pleasure. It actually worked out great for me as I got the ss vamo cheap as chips from a clearance corner because it wouldn't screw together in 18350 mode, £2.50 or so for a new end cap and still paid a good £15 less than average. Really glad you don't have to post it all the way back to china! Chris |

I've got the same on my ss, I got it cheap because of that, however the problem bizarrely is the end cap, my chrome end cap fits perfect on the ss in 18350 mode, so I ordered a new ss end cap from VE, simple fix and probably much cheaper than sending it back to china! I know it's def the end cap cos it won't fit my chrome in 18350 either, try your chrome cap, I bet it works. Chris. Just seen the above post, so yeah that |

Alba! Their minimum postage is nearly £4.00! I don't get it, I posted elsewhere on here about it. Are they actually trying to stop people ordering? Have they had stuff go missing? They do a massive role of kanthal for £8.00 and loads of other stuff I want but there is no way on earth I'm paying £4.00 minimum postage!

Was mooching around YouTube last night when I found a short vid about double mesh wicks. So I made one and put it in my AGA T+. It's great! Basically you just make a lose wick using a 4cm tall x 2.5 cm wide piece of mesh so it has a large hole down the middle, then make a really tight wick with a 1.5cm wide pice of mesh and slide it down the middle, both oxidised and burnt in the usual way, then just stick a 1.8 ohm coil on it and off you go. Really simple and makes a big difference to flavour and vapour. I'm just a beginner so it's a great way to make a wick that works really well and really easy too. Just thought I'd share.

+1 on alba! Loads of good stuff on there but the cheapest post you can have (and its not the default one) is about four quid, I thought it must be a mistake so rang up, no answer so emailed, no answer. I wonder if they've had problems with stuff not arriving or people claiming it hasn't arrived? A real shame cos there's loads of bits and bobs I'd like to buy on there.
