Hey everyone, I just opened up the wick hole on one of my AGA-T's this afternoon and I figured I's share my results. I posted 3 videos on youtube showing how well it's working. The hole ended up being 3/16" or 4.7mm. I'm using 150mm of 400, 4 winds on the coil and I can't run this dry. If anyone else has done this, please let me know how it's been working for you & what you did for your setup.
The last video is of a 100mm wick, same exact setup. 400 mesh, 28g Kanthal A-1, 4 winds on the coil at .8.or .9 ohms.
Forgot to mention in my original post that with the 100mm wick, the heating is much quicker and flavor is still spot on. Less metal to heat does make a big difference. In the past I thought the differences would have been negligible. I was wrong. There is about 1 to 1-1/2mm of space around the wick so with the wick not being tight to the wick hole I think that is helping the capillary action a lot.

thanks for the responses. I think I've got it figured out now, so here's a test. An old video.

I've been experimenting with my aga-t's and have a few video I'd like to share with the group but just not sure on how to insert them properly. Over on nu-vapor there's an editing button which allows you to copy & paste a youtube video link. When I clicked on the youtube button above it doesn't work. What am I missing? I did try to go through the forum to find my answer, but couldn't find it, so sorry if this has been asked before. Also, can you insert more than one video in a single post? Thanks in advance for answers, Greg

That pic in the opening post looks very much like a recycled laptop cell ??? These were purchased as individual cells. The circuitry tab and wire strip are added on as the protection to supposedly prevent over charging or draining past 3.2v. This is typically what's inside most protected (non IMR) 1800 series batteries. Just ran across this looking for reference pix.http://breaktru.com/smf/index.php?topic=289.0 These were bought from a reputable dealer here in the states so I could avoid substandard or counterfeits. So much for that. Most e-cig dealers & suppliers carry this exact battery, so I'd assume that not only are we being duped by suppliers too. I realize that all these secondary names have the big boys manufacture for them, but how about real ratings on the labels. That's all I'm asking for. Attachments:

Had an Ultrafire 18650 3000mah battery go dead on me a few days ago and was waiting to go to the recycling center. Having never taken the wrapper off from one of these I decided to see what was under the hood. Turns out they're made by Samsung. I googled the exact same numbers shown on the battery and saw that they really only have a 2600mah rating. I don't think this is right or fair to upsell what is in reality not true. It was bought from a reputable dealer that specializes in batteries. Not to say they are aware of it, but they will be informed soon. I'd be curious to know if anyone else has looked at these same batteries after they died and ran across the same thing...anyone out there? Pix attached. Attachments:

Hello everyone, Greg here also known as quackster on nu-vapor & ecf. I ran across this forum by chance looking for some info on the AGA-T's. I saw one of my videos in the thread so I said "you got to check these guys out". I've been vaping since September 2010. I slipped several times, but always came back. Can honestly say I haven't smoked in so long I've forgotten now what my anniversary date would be. I had no choice but to quit. A go-around with throat cancer makes you wonder if it's worth it and the answer is NO! Besides that I'm loving vaping, all the toys, flavors & people involved in the community. I can't believe how much has changed with all the new products & options available to us, just in the past 2 years. I got into gennys last Spring & haven't looked back. I probably have about 15 to 20 various type drippers which I use once in a while just to change it up for a minute or two. We've got the usual arsenal of Ego's, Silver Bullets, Bolts and my new favorite at the moment, a Gus telescopic. There's a co-op going on now for the EA Mods telescopics and I'm sort of torn between doing that or ordering a 69. I'm really liking the 69 the more I look at it, especially being able to have that quality with a top button option. I don't have any name brand gennys. They are all clones of the Did, Mini Did, Cobra and 3 of the AGA-T's which I just love. I was ready to pull the trigger on either a Did or a Zen when I got my first AGA. After using that for a few days I decided that I wasn't going to get any better of a vaping experience with a name brand, just better machining and better quality materials. I'm not a brand flasher so I'm totally happy with the AGA's. To me it's all about a quality vape. Flavor, throat hit, vapor volume & that nice full lung feeling when you inhale. I typically wind about 60mm x 40mm of 400 with either a 3 wind or 4 wind 28g Kanthal ending up at .5ohms to .9 ohms depending on how much of a full lung hit I want. Tried the 500, but the flavor was a bit muted. Maybe I have to experiment a little more with it.
I'm also into ferrets, love those little guys and hunting & shooting with slingshots. We have 5 of the little love muffins.
You guys have the best two reviewers in the world (IMHO), Scott & Todd. I love Scotts clear & concise approach & Todd's nice casual like he's your personal friend or neighbor talking to you approach. I watch every review these guys do, even if it's an item I'd never buy. They are national treasures in my book.
Sorry for the long yak session and hope to make some new friends here too, Greg
