When I first started vaping, I seemed to want the throat hit more than the vapour, but now I seem to want HUGE amounts of vapour and not so bothered about the throat hit? ??? So I guess I want the resistance that gives as much vapour as possible, with just a slight throat hit. That would be the lower resistance heads?

I thought 2.4 + gives more vapour and throat hit? Lol, i thought it was the opposite, that the 1.8 gives a better throat hit? That's what I've been told.? Is it better throat hit or more vapour?

I use a 1.8 rainbow rebuildable on my own Riva. Works great with a smashing throat hit. I use the Kanger bottom coil 510 LR cartomisers too when I want a non faffing day. Link to them on VE HereThanks for the link whambansam, I tried ordering the new heads but having a few probs with ordering due to losing my card and having to wait for a new card to be delivered ( I thought PayPal used bank details, not card details, but obviously not)'. Hopefully I can order today, but now I'm not sure if I should be ordering the 2.4 or the 1.8 heads?

Right, now I've got it working (didnt realise i had to press the button!) It's good. But it feels weird. Maybe I am too hung up on the whole feeling like a cig thing after all. It does leave me feeling satisfied though - with the old ones I never got that 'full' feeling. Love the drip tip which feels so much nicer. I am definitely converted to refilling e juice myself as it was a cinch and the clearomiser is great but I'm not sure I'm sold on the massive battery...so might well sell on (its pink so ladies this ones for you). Can I get better fag sized batteries than the ones I have? Will live with it a few days and see though.... Hi lovesatenminutebreak Your post I've quoted above could have been written by me, I can SO relate to your concern about the size, but as I've been told so many times, size really does matter! (stop giggling at the back!!) I've only been vaping a few weeks, but have wasted money by trying to keep to smaller ECig types. I started off, like you, on look-a-like ecigs, from Tesco. I came here and got a bit of info, but was still hung up on size, so ordered a pink ecig that was really slim, about the size of a slim roll-up. It was rubbish. From that I went on to an e-cab, which is a bit larger than a normal cig, again in pink (cuz I went for looks instead of function, typical girly) and although I got on ok with it, the battery life was poor and I was forever charging and refilling the juice. I finally listened to the lovely people on here and ordered the Riva. When it came I thought it was HUGE . I didn't think I would ever get used to it! Already though, I'm looking at bigger battery types, although I'm very happy with the Riva for now, but I think in the near future I might seriously upgrade. I guess what I'm trying to say is, stick with it, don't get rid of your RIva, it's surprising how quickly you get used to the size. I was a roll-up smoker and rolled them so thin, people used to joke that I'd been in prison! If I can get used to the size anyone can, give it a few days and I'm sure that like me you won't even notice it anymore.

So I can take the heads out of the rainbow clearo, which is 2.8, and just replace it with 2.4 heads? Heads are the bit with the wick in, right? That's good, I was prepared to bin those clearos, but I will just put new heads in them. I'm guessing that's why they are called rebuildable?, lol, see, I really am that dumb! Yeah smokey, the head is the bit with the wicks, that will unscrew from the metal pillar and you can then just screw in a 2.4 head and keep the 2.8 heads for spares just in case. You can replace the tubes, the metal bases and the drip tips separately to keep costs down and easier to have spares then to. That's great, thanks a lot. Will order a few plus the tubes, I'm too lazy to bother too much with all the washing out and dry burning etc

Smokey you cant get the rainbow v3's with a 1.8 head and 2.4 head and the 2.8 head which you bought, jason is just out of stock at the moment so you could wait till he gets some in. Or better still just order some 2.4 heads for the ones you have here www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-ego-rainbow-v3-spare-heads-%28long-wick%29~390 just unscrew the head you have on and screw on the 2.4 head, fill and away you go.

The one you like, was it the one with the rival cos you only get one. Its 2.4 which is the most popular. Did you order a vivi no a? These have 2.4 on them from the box with two other heads different resistance. I would go with 2.4's And there is no such thing as a stupid question and if you say you're stup again I shall slap the back of your legs with a pink flamingo:) Lol, don't you threaten me with a flamingo! Yep the one I like is the one that came with the riva.

???Answers on a postcard please to.... Ok, I AM DUMB . Lol. Having established that the rainbow clearos are high resistance and therefore not really suitable for the Riva battery, which is the best low resistance clearo to get? Does it actually say it when ordering them? I've decided I really do t like the cartos but am having nothing but trouble with the clearos? I want to stick with them, but have to admit to being less than bright when it comes to all things vaper-ish. Is there a clearo that doesn't have to be faffed about with all the time with washing & dry burning etc? Which is the best clearo out there that fits a riva and gives good vapour? I'm down to one clearo now, not counting the 2 I bought that are one good for the Riva voltage, so need to be getting more, like, yesterday!! Thanks in advance to anyone answering what must seem to expert vapers to be a very stupid question, but, well, I am very stupid.

Grants Vanilla Custard ! Sweet without being sickly, smooth and very very moorish. banoffee cream is nice too, but for me nothing beats GVC.

Bit of a blow Grant's mixing machine blowing up. I have some spare, however it is 22mg Nicotine, and 50/50 VG PG so may not be of use. With the rebuild-able clearo leaking / not vaping much. Take it apart, and take the bit of rubber of the head (bit with the two wicks sticking out). The head needs to be tightened down nicely (I use a pair of pliers, but don't use much force). The breaking from overtightening happens from overtightening the clearo to the battery. I've got some GVC arriving today but thanks Gary? Will have another tamper with the clearo.

Completely OT, Smokey, but I love your avatar. From one shoe addict to another? Ahhhh another shoe- addict!! . My ex-husband once said to me that I had too many shoes, I said "no, I just don't have enough feet!". I LOVE shoes!

Lol, my postman asks me if the parcel he's delivering is more e.cig stuff ! I live in a tiny village and if you mention something to a villager at 9am, by 10 am the entire village has heard about it! I've had lots of curious queries about my riva in the village pub. To date I haven't quite managed to get any of them vaping, but I'm getting there, 3 different people are now using cig-a-likes, so I'm quietly confident that a riva or similar will be the next step . Baring in mind that even walking into the pub in high-heels gets this reaction " " so it may be a while, but I think it will happen

I ordered some juice and code didn't show. Not too fussed cos I didn't spend much Exactly what I found spikeyfridge. Maybe it's because of a small transaction, although I don't think it worked when I ordered the riva either, if I recall correctly? Anyway, no matter, still excellent service by Jason! ( ooh, maybe I should reword that? hehe) I've decided to bin the 2 clearoos I bought, now that I know more about resistance etc. will order a different type soon, but for now I'm very happy with the clearo I'm using that came with the riva batteries. All I need now is my Grants Vanilla Custard and I will be a happy vaper

Don't forget discount code For some reason the discount code won't work for me though? I tried using it when I ordered the juices and rainbow clearos but it kept saying that the code is not recognised ??? Is it still "allabout" ?
