hi siffy, good luck with your journey into mixing, as others have already said with high PG mixes you should not need to thin the liquid down however if you move onto a higher VG ratio you may need to thin this down, i use PG Nic base and most flavourings are in PG too i get my VG from boots and just dilute it down with 5 to 10% Vodka, i would advise you to avoid distilled/Deionised water from the carshop as there have been issues reported with them, lots of info on the mixing board, once again good luck, you'll rarely buy ready made again

Super-Shiny, congratulations to you both. wishing you all the very best and a wonderful future together (gushing, i'm an old romantic at heart). after years of proposing she finally agreed and i was hoping to have a nice quiet wedding but was surprised by my good lady who had other plans, she went to the registrars office and changed the date! i got married on a carnival float dressed as the Mad hatter with only an hours notice. Certainly a day i'll never forget and some cracking photo's too. So a word of warning make sure you keep an eye on the dates and arrangements , mind you i can never forget our anniversary and i don't have to arrange a party either as we have it on the carnival float www.flickr.com/photos/dorsetbays/sets/72157624772226630/

helpful, tolerant, non-judgemental, fun and supportive too, but most of all as Roscopecotrain stated an extended family which i am proud to be part of. (is that too gushy?)

ripple27, taken me a little while to type this out, please don’t think I am having a dig at or making light of people whose situation is difficult, especially due to medical reasons, I do understand about depression etc. I am in no way proposing that a person can “just get over it” by thinking positive, I was aiming more towards people who feel their situation cannot be improved, for example they haven’t got a job or a decent job, the weather is bad, general outlook on life which is negative, it is a lot easier to list the bad things than the good, try making a list yourself. the negatives come easy. Many people will immediately dismiss the concept of changing your attitude and being happier as being ‘too good to be true’ but think about it. What if it were true, wouldn’t that be good? The fact is whatever you thought about in relation to my post is simply down to your focus of attention, or to put it another way, you look for only those things which your mind and senses are attuned to find. That’s why for some the glass is half-full and for others half-empty so to speak. It does appear to be unachievable, the truth of the matter is that it does take hard work and along the way there will be many “failures” you must balance any attempt at "being positive" with an understanding that the reality is, it's going to be an ongoing struggle. There is no doubt that some people will try to throw a spanner in the works and you would not be human if you could switch everything off and walk around with a smile on your face all the time not caring what happens around you. Life can deliver some terrible blows. However you can adjust the way you approach the things that impact negatively on your life, again this does take practice and effort. I do have days when I “hate my job” or feel down but they are now few and far between, What you can do is try to understand why you feel like you do, you need to look at what it is that is affecting you, are you able to influence it or is it completely out of your control? If it is the latter then there is nothing you can do but live with it so it means changing your outlook and searching for any (even the smallest) positives, if you can change it then you need to take control and go for it, and yes it is easier said than done. It is the way you deal with failures, the meaning you attribute to them and the positive experiences you can draw from them, which makes the difference

it's all a state of mind,so the experts say. here follows some gumpf: The fact is happiness is not a destination or objective and it’s not something we eventually arrive at. It is something we do. It is an attitude to life. It’s our relationship to the way we feel about life not the way life makes us feel. In short happiness is something that you can achieve right now – if you want to. The reality is that we become addicted to nothing more than our emotional state, and, believe it or not, our minds generate the very chemicals we need to satisfy our emotional addiction, whatever it may be – anger, depression, sadness, victim-mentality or joyful, happy, positive, upbeat, etc. In essence if you need to feel bad about something your brain will produce ‘bad-juice’, and if you need to feel good about something your brain will produce ‘good juice’. What would you rather generate – good stuff or bad stuff? The choice is actually yours. There is now an abundance of research that proves that being happy is good for your health. Look it up on the wonderful internet! It is also claimed that happiness could be more important than smoking in determining your health. Dr Derek Cox, Director of Public Health at Dumfries and Galloway NHS, suspects that for decades health professionals have been missing a big trick in improving the health of the nation. "We've spent years saying that giving up smoking could be the single most important thing that we could do for the health of the nation”. Yet there is mounting evidence that happiness might be at least as powerful a predictor, if not a more powerful predictor than some of the other lifestyle factors that we talk about in terms of cigarette smoking, diet, physical activity and those kind of things." “If you are happy you are likely in the future to have less in the way of physical illness than those who are unhappy.” Dr Derek Cox, Director of Public Health Andrew Steptoe, the British Heart Foundation Professor of Psychology at University College London, has found that happier people also have greater protection against things like heart disease and stroke. "We know that stress which has bad effects on biology, leads to those bad changes as far as health is concerned," said Mr. Steptoe. "What we think is happening is that happiness has the opposite effect and has a protective effect on these same biological pathways". righty ho when can i get a repeat prescription of happiness!
