We have 7 Evods and all of them go snotty within hours,we are careful when filling and at the first signs of gurgling we use kitchen roll down the inside.I tried every recommendation but they always go the same way,is there anything else i am missing.

Hey Yorkshireman!
Maybe your juice is really thin and thus causes the flooding Or you suck on the thing too hard causing too much liquid to enter the chamber

Is it only the first puff that's gurgely?
Could just be because you set it down for an hour the juice really primes the wick and it's just too wet to get everything vaporized with the first hit. In that case I would state that it's "normal behavior" for a bottom coil...

In that case I would state that it's "normal behavior" for a bottom coil... It can be used regularly and all of a sudden it will become snotty or it can be left and become snotty. The only thing left i think it could be and this is where i need your knowledge is i use 1.8 coils and use a spinner set at 3.7 otherwise it burns, could it be that the 3.7 setting is not vapourising enough of the juice and it is the excess that is causing it.Hope i explained that ok.

Could all very well be It really depends on how you draw/suck the thing. Do you suck it too hard, not all liquid gets vaporized and some is left then do that a few times and you have your gurgle If your coil is not heating up fast enough while you are lurking the thing it could also cause flooding The idea would be to find the right way of "lurking" not too hard, not too soft, wait a few moments with lurking after you pushed the power button to have the coils heat up etc etc

It's good practice to hold the fire button for a second before and a second after each vape. Lets the coil get hot and helps prevent condensation after. The design of the head resists excess liquid from flowing back into the tank so once it's gurgling it will continue to do so. Try some 2.4 heads Yorkshireman and see if you get the same problem?

When mine was doing that yorkshireman someone advised me to push the grommet down on the wicks, i did this & sure enough it gave a little pop as i pushed it down & have not had the problem since. I have 5 evods & check the grommet when i put a different evod on my battery & they have all been ok.

When using tissue paper make sure you take the base off as you will be pushing condensation down to the base and there is a chance you will also touch the coil. First piccy is where the tissue should go and how far: Other 3 of how much to fill them:

When mine go a bit gurgly, as well as a kitchen paper swab out, I tend to take the base unit out and give that a good wipe round as well. I also use 1.8ohm heads Yorkshireman, the 2.4ohm peaked off too soon for me . . . when they're new I'll start at 3.7v, the one I'm using now after a couple of days use I've taken up to 3.9v. By the time it's a dead un, I'll probably have worked up to 4.4v.

Seriously guys why do you bother with these things when the iClear 16 is out there. OK, I know that it will drink the juice being dual coil and give a warmer, tighter vape but are these BCCs really worth the hassle?
