Have you tried any coffee vapes, Romelee? The Espresso ones aren't sweet at all, like you I don't do overly sweet. also, I can't go back to any juice that made me feel sick as the mere thought makes me feel sick again *Waves* to Lyn I drink coffee quite a lot but i don't think i would like to vape it, bit like i smoked a lot but i cannot vape it (if this makes sense ) The Banoffee is sweet but not enough to make me feel sick so it looks like i will just have to find juices that are sweet but not too sweet. As for mixing that is a NO NO, my OH is already moaning at me about how much i am spending, everyday now for the last 3 weeks the postie always has something for me I didn't think I'd like vaping coffee either but I really enjoyed the coffee one I tried at our local shop! I still have to switch between flavours as I do get sick of them the only one I can vape all day at the moment is Swedish Fish which to me tastes like the fizzy coating you get on jelly sweets mixed with apples. Mixing your own will work out cheaper in the long run so after the initial outlay you'll be saving cash Just use the look how much I've saved on ciggies excuse or you could try swapping or selling some of the juices you don't like in the classified. I'm lucky my other half still smokes so he can't really complain

Well done Cas! As well as the satisfaction of converting them you now also have another 3 people to borrow stuff off if something breaks and get the chance to try new juices when they buy something you haven't tried yet

It's handy to have a bottle of unflavoured, for stealth vaping on a train for example. No flavour=no smell. Good move I never thought of that could be handy for next plane trip! Although I'm sure the smell of cherry menthol I left after vaping in the loo was preferrable to what plane loos usually smell of:)

Non active periods will always present more symptoms because of decreased circulation, I had thought of arthritic conditions but it sounds too sudden, arthritis is usually slower, aspirin is very good for these conditions but please don't take them if you have any history of stomach ulcers. I'd be interested to know the diagnosis as it does sound familiar, stay active and avoid rich foods and alcohol ( wine is worse), have anti inflammatories on hand for painful periods, avoid standing for long periods, all at least till your gp has seen you. Thanks Skwoddy! Although I've done a bit less exercise due to the weather and work I've still done a fair bit and my main job is very active as well. I do eat pretty healthily apart from the breakfast bacon roll addiction on work days As for alcohol I hardly touch it about once a month we'll go for a night out and have a few drinks but other than that it's just the very odd drink after work which is usually one beer then home! I will let you know what the doc says and I'll try taking asprin as well! I'm getting worried about the arthritis thing as in my mums case it did seem pretty quick but as I was just a kid at the time there's also a chance that a lot of it was hidden from me. In my memory she suddenly went from working a full time job and being active to being in constant agony, struggling to do anything and taking a huge concoction of pills as the doctors tried to bring it under control. Ask your doc to send you for an xray. I had mild lung trouble many years ago and joint pains was one of the symptoms. I stress one of the symptoms so don't start thinking that's what you have. There's no harm, nevertheless, in getting an xray and breathing tests to find out what, if any, damage smoking has done to your lungs. Thanks Spikey I have had asthma since childhood so I do get regular check ups but usually these days asthma only bothers me if I get a bad cold or flu or is triggered by certain allergies. I had a chest Xray last year due to docs being concerned that I possibly had pneumonia after being admitted to hospital with a severe asthma attack when I had a flu bug. LOL I can remember being terrified that they were going to find something dodgy on the Xrays but thankfully they were ok. I'm guessing that my doc will probably check my breathing etc when I go but I will ask about it if they don't! Thanks blackarrow I know I probably over did it the 2 days I was boarding and for a few days I was blaming that but it does seem to have got worse rather than better and although I did have a few falls etc I can't say I really injured myself or badly pulled any muscles.

Cheers blackarrow I've actually been doing a bit less than usual due to being busy with work and the weather being lousy!
I did initially blame the pain on a couple of days snowboarding as I hadn't been doing it for the last year due to wrecking my ankle and maybe overdone it a bit but I think that would have cleared up a bit quicker than this has.

Thanks Jen, Karma and Booblay I'll give the salts a try and buy some cod liver oil capsules as well! I have been using Voltarol gel which I got as an anti inflammatory pain relief gel after wrecking my ankle ligaments a few months ago! LOL I've been using it like it was moisturiser the last few days

Thanks Skwoddy! I'm 39 I can't think of any history of gout in the family but my mum was diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid arthritis when she was in her 30s and although I've been checked a couple of times obviously I'm starting to worry that that could be the cause of this pain.
There's no redness or major inflammation around the joints but I dom't tend to swell up much even with injuries! Hospital nearly missed a broken ankle and fractured wrist as there was hardly any swelling and only went ahead with the Xrays due to the pain I was in!
I am pretty fit apart from the smoking part LOL but I do regular sports and even though I've been in pain at night I've not had any problems when I've been cycling or running the last couple of weeks it just seems to be at night!

Wow, do you fancy coming round and organising my vaping cupboard!! When you've finished with Toondogs vaping cupboard feel free to pop round any time you're bored and organise our house LOL I start outt with the intention of having everything neat and tidy but right now most of my vaping stuff is lying around on the PC desk instead of in the case or box I bought to keep it in. I clean the house every day and it still ends up untidy I can blame lack of space and my other half for most of it though I'm really jealous of people who got the organisation gene I think I must have nipped out for a smoke when they were handing it out(rofl)

Thanks Perpetua,
I don't take any supplements but I do eat plenty of fish including mackeral and salmon which are supposed to be good for the joints!
Never had any problems before apart from when I've injured myself.

Has anyone experienced severe joint pain after stopping smoking and starting vaping?
Over the last few weeks I've had pain in my joints mostly overnight my wrists, fingers, and elbows seem to be worst although my leg joints hurt as well.
To start with I was waking up in pain but now it's actually waking me up from my sleep and preventing me from getting back to sleep as I can't find a way to lie that doesn't hurt so it seems to be getting worse.
I have given in and arranged a doctors appointment but as usual at my docs it's 2 weeks before I can get one.
I ended up searching the net last night and found it could possibly be a side effect of stopping smoking . As it's the only thing that's really changed in my life and thie pain started around 2 weeks into vaping thought I would see if anyone else on here had similar problems when they gave up the ciggies.
