Coming up 1 week with Riva

Getting on very well with the Riva 1100. Starting to gain a definite preference for clearomisers. Cant stop buying the bloody e-liquid tho, now got over 200ml in stock (special cupboard set aside) and about another 50ml on order.


OH has a lovely display rack for sewing thimbles and the 5ml sample bottles look lovey in it, but she is not convinced (yet)!

Have been experiencing the dry throat & especially lips (special tip, if you borrow your other half's lip balm, make sure its the type that DOESN'T contain a pink lipstick shade, couldn't work out why I was getting funny looks at work, until someone asked if I was wearing my wifes panties as well!). But would definitely say I have been drinking more tea.

Tried many fantastic flavours but for me I do keep going back to the 'British Tobacco' e-liquid found here: www.smokshop.com/collections/e-liquids

Have 2 on the go permanently and find a couple of chuffs on a baccy flavour followed by a couple on a sweet flavour, (with a cup of tea) is absolute bliss!

Had to suffer with the dry lips part, i try to avoid anything that has a certain consistency, i.e you will never get me with sun tan oil on no matter how hot it is and i run a mile from sand , another reason why i have been so happy lately as my psoriasis has cleared i don't have to touch ointments anymore (well not as much)

You should see me if some e-liquid gets on my hands

Nice one Johnny. We sound very similar, except for the lipstick and panties part. I'm more a high heels and bra man myself.

I have both batteries on the go at once too and ordered a twist yesterday, so that will probably end up being three on the go at once when it arrives. Also keep on ordering liquids and they already have their very own cupboard. Their very own rack though? that's impressive. Kudos!
Hoping it's just the novelty with it all and my new obsession will slowly start to level out. It will have to anyway as I'll end bankrupt at this rate if it doesn't.

All joking aside it's good making the switch isn't it? Are you feeling any health benefits yet? As I'm honestly feeling better already.

Glad you are getting on well with your Riva, for newbies like us its a great piece of kit.

I also have around 200ml of samples to work through. Artic Cherry is my fav at the moment, but I do like a baccyflavour to start the day. Clearos great.

Awesome juice collection as well, It took me quite a while to get to the point where I had spare juice (I vaped most of it as soon as I got it.)

Well done matey I have stopped smoking for 1 year 1 month and 23 days and it is getting easier

Hey, I'll tell ya what.... Though I'm not a 'money expert', judging by the threads here, I wonder if Jason at Vape Escape is selling shares!! Hey, Jason if you're reading this, ever thought of opening a 'Vape Cafe' where none believers can come and chuff a few samples and the converted (like me) can come and shake your hand and buy you a beer?

This is why I believe forums are THE place to get unbiased views and read the down sides as well as the upsides. An ex colleague of mine (who happened to be a Marketing Director) said that if you can get a dedicated board, 95% of your work is done for you!

MarkS,... The health benefits... First of all I forgot how much my lungs could deflate. I'm physically breathing out more. My wheeze is so much better and although I still have a bit of a morning cough when I get up, it doesnt stay with me until about 4pm like it used to. Dry lips and throat aside, which is more likely that I dont regulate my vapes like a fag, as a fag is gone in 5 minutes and I find I'm still toking 30 minutes after picking it up. The initial constipation I was suffering from is easing off now, but still suffering from...erm...quite potent botty cough's that make our dog puke!

From a financial point of view, the new 'Vaping since' banner is my defence when my OH says "How much have you spent", coz I can just refer to it and say, look, according to this I have saved £72 on tobacco and although I'm about still in the red, rough calculations show that I will eventually get in the black and the savings will grow.

Vaping....Where have you been all my life?
